I tried a class of LA Boxing for free and then signed a contract. I had to sign either a one, two, or three year contract. There's no getting out of the contract unless you have an illness and get a doctor's note. The boxing instruction was fine, but the workout is extremely challenging. You really need to be in great shape to stick with the program. They play very loud music and it's hard to hear the instructors. Parking is limited, especially at busy times. They have items for sale, but most are a littte expensive, like boxing wraps, which I recommend buying at Dick's. I've seen a few bags out of order and one fell down by someone working out behind me. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. Only one bathroom and shower in the gym. They keep the place too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. I'd never sign a contract with them again. Too uncomfortable working out there and staff isn't helpful.
