If you've never tried Korean food before and are getting mind-raped by the standard pub / bistro fare in NC, then this is the place to check out. Standard main courses include the tried and true bi bim bap, kalbi for the carnivores, tofu dishes for the vegans and spicy soups for the hardcore. And of course side dishes (ban chan) are free and almost fat-free, but don't skimp on taste. Getting refills on these tasty little Asian hors d'?uvres will never supersize your McGirth either. The prices are a fraction of what you'd pay for in your typically pretentious Le Chateau Maison de Charlotte Uptowne joint serving bland, greasy, unoriginal, and mind-numbingly boring staples which are barely a notch above imitation gruel.
Other than the decor (don't expect to find Martha Stewart's monogram embroidered on the table linens), this simple place serves simply good food at a simply hard to beat price. Not recommended for first dates, unless you're sure that you're not bringing a high-maintenance finnicky drama queen with no sense of adventure to the table.
Pros: Tons of parking, tasty health food, nothing bland here, cheap and simple
Cons: Not exactly an elegant place, so don't bring royalty
