When my daughter first proposed having her wedding reception at the Kyle House, Judy (the event planner/owner) was extremely gracious and helpful. When it came down to giving her a final head count, because it was significantly less than what was originally planned, she completely changed her attitude. The event is a month away, plenty of time to give her a final total and she argued about the number of people coming. I also asked about the refund and how soon it would be sent because it wasn't in the contract and she accused me of being distrusting of her, suggesting that I questioned whether or not she ran a reputable business. It may be a beautiful home, but I would suggest taking a look elsewhere if you are planning an event. I wish we could change our minds, but it is too late. I just pray she doesn't do something that will ruin our daughter's big day. What a horrible woman.
