Heather Murray, the owner of Kyla, has been my hairdresser for six+ years now and she is absolutely fabulous!! She is so incredibly talented and each visit to her exquisite salon is truly a pleasure. Over the years, Heather has become more than a stylist to me and is a true friend. When I became engaged, I knew right away that I would want no other person than Heather to do my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Every time I leave Kyla I feel extremely beautiful, but with Heather's talent on my wedding day I felt the most radiant, the most confident, and more beautiful than ever before- all thanks to her! I cannot say enough good things about Kyla: a visit to the salon will guarantee a fabulous haircut, gorgeous color, wonderful products all in a comfortable and beautiful environment. I'd been going to another hairdresser in Gloucester and when my regular hairstylist left, I had my hair done by another stylist in the place. She nothing short of butchered my hair. For a few months I'd been getting my hair cut in London (UK) where I travel frequently for work. After hours of googling for local places with good reviews I came across Kyla. Heather worked miracles. I've had more compliments on my hair than ever before. She takes her time, and cuts like no one else. Great atmosphere in the place with lovely surroundings. One note... they don't take credit cards so make sure you know how much it's going to be before you go so you have enough cash with you or a cheque book. more

Heather is a pro that creates magic with hair! The salon is in an old antique victorian house situated in Gloucester. She and I met while browsing in my antique shop(Antiques Displayed) for pieces that would enhance ""the look"" of her lovely salon. Heather is wonderful, I have been going to her for my cut and color for a few years now. I am always so pleased with the outcome and it is a joy to go to her. I am so happy that she has opened her own salon, Kyla, in Gloucester- the space is absolutely beautiful. When I moved into Boston last year, I didn't even consider looking for another Salon because Heather is fabulous and extremely talented! I would follow her anywhere. Her cut and coloring skills are superb and now that she is offering nail and waxing services, I can get everything done in one place, which is so convenient. Heather has styled my hair for many years. She is professional, kind and funny. We always ""review"" the previous six weeks to determine what worked and what didn't with my haircut. I always feel like I can be honest with her and I always know that Heather will be give me honest feedback with any ideas I may have on what I want to do with my hair.
