I chose this restaurant based on good reviews. My family ordered out on a holiday weekend. The primary chef must have had the night off. We ordered general chicken, fried rice, chow mein and shrimp walnut. The fried rice was mostly white in color with batches of brown colored (fried) rice mixed in. It had very litle flavor. The chow mein was greasy and just odd tasting. The sauce for the general chicken was ok, but it was not cooked right. Gooey is the best way to describe it. The shrimp was cooked ok, but the sauce tasted like mayonnaise with a pinch of sugar. Gag. I will eat mostly anything, but most of this stuff ended up in the trash. We will never be back. more

I would have to say i highly recommend this restauant. Service is excellent, food is just as good, and now that they deliver it is awesome. I recommend the hot and sour soup and also the calamari. Excellent, quality food. Definatly our favorite chinese!!! A must try Pros: parking, food, service, never a wait Cons: none more

This is our favorite family Chinese place. The service is always prompt and the food is great. Our kids used to hate Chinese food until we exposed them to the great food at Kung Pao. Now, they ask for it. What a relief, since we love Chinese food. Oh by the way, did I mention that the prices are great! If you try it, you won't be disappointed and I am sure that you will be back. Enjoy! Pros: Great Service, Great Food and reasonable prices Cons: This is definately not FATS so don't expect a romantic get-away. But hey, it is a Family Chinese restaurant, what do you expect?! more

My husband and I enjoy their excellent Chinese cooking and service. The staff and owners are doing a great job to accomodate the customers' needs and satisfaction. When I was sick, they would make some special dishes to adjust my change of appetite. This place is considered as our family restaurant. There is no place like Kung Pao Place in Roseville or Sacramento area that we would go for a family meal. more

One would never notice this wonderful restaurant in a tiny little strip mall hidden behind Appleby's Restaurant and McDonald's. Consequently, I'm compelled to fill you in! The food is fabulous (the incredible appetizers, Walnut Shrimp, Sweet and Sour are my favorites, but I've yet to try anything there I haven't liked), the prices are extremely reasonable, the ambience is better than your average Chinese restaurant, and the staff is warm and friendly. Check it out!! more
