Kumon Math and Reading Center of BEAR

I agree that this Kumon center is bad. The Kumon owner here Sonali Pandit is rude and whimsical. She is moody and doesn't know how to treat students and parents kindly. We have stopped our kids from this center. Actually we were warned by a friend who runs a Kumon Math & Reading center in Doylestown, PA against enrolling our children at Ms. Pandit's center. Alas, if we had only listened we would not have wasted so much of our money on something this bad. more

The instructor sonali pandit is very rude to the kids, the center gives way too much work (espicially private school kids and high school kids they get enough homework). She always goes around saying FASTET GO FASTER even of the kid is tryong their best. I dont hate her personaly. I just dont like the way she treats kids. The assistants such as Sunny, Helen, chelsea,will are a big help. But seem to also be afraid of her. more

my friend told me that the other kumon lady on in the same mall in accent music got in trouble with the branch my friend is not happy with her. my other friend goes to kumon of bear and loves it there i went and the instructor was so nice.i recomend it. more

The instructer Sonali is EXTREMELY rude to parents and kids especially. The assistants are very nice and helpful but even when my child had to turn in a test that had been corrected by an assistant, he said "Good luck talking to her." You know that if the person that is working for her is afraid of her it is not a good place to be. She constantly yells at the kids, "GO FASTER, GO FASTER!" Also, in her bio she says she has the passion for working for kids. That is the COMPLETE opposite. Half the time she is too lazy to get out of her chair in her so called "office" and she makes the kids go get things for her. She even had the audascity to yell at some kid saying, "WHY AREN'T YOU DOING THE WORK MY WAY" like her way to do math is the only way. The way she teaches is not even teaching. She does the problem the kid got wrong in front of them, while yelling at them also. (she is a great multitasker), and then pushes the kid away to finish the rest of the work when the child still doesn't even know what to do. ALL she cares about is the money. more

She ate as incredibly rude to my child. The assistants are nice but she couldn't have a worse job for her personality. more

This is an excellent center for children's education. The owner has dedicated her life to helping children improve their reading and math skills. I highly recommend Sonali. Meet her and decide for yourself. Tanya Beresh more

I wouldn't give any stars at all for this center. The lady owner (Sonali Pandit) is very rude and arrogant. She always talks about too much of Kumon's corporate policy instead of taking interest on what's best for the student; the statements rather shows that its a business and she is obviously in it for money and don't even care about student's academic growth. Don't waste your money at any of Sonali's Kumon center of Bear or in Hockessin, DE. more
