With tens of thousands of songs out there, they KJR FM play the same stuff day after day after day after day. The same 2-3 songs over and over by groups and artists like Boston, The Eagles, Journey, Elton John, .38 Special, etc. Good groups/artists, but these folks have recorded more than 2-3 songs each! Mix it up. And, voice mail messages to those supposedly in control go unacknowledged and not returned. There isn't a single station in the Seattle area that doesn't play the same lame stuff over and over and over. Lazy? Who knows... more

Only if you want to hear the same 5 songs over and over again. 8/17/2005

Here's how it works -- there's 168 hours in a week. KUBE plays their top 7 songs about 80 - 100 times per week. Take out 10 minutes an hour for commercials, and you're hearing the same songs over and over and over and over and over. KUBE has outlived its usefulness in Seattle - the station to listen to is KMIH-FM -- X104.5 FM. Not the greatest coverage, but way more commited to new music and local artists than KUBE is. It coule be so much better - but it just isn't. more
