My wife happily received a gift card to this shop for her birthday, so we stopped by to pick up a couple of bottles of wine. She had exactly what she wanted in mind and explained clearly to the staff what she was looking for, but one staff member, a particularly craggy, pretentious old hag, chose to argue with us and the rest of the staff and insist that this particular wine had never been carried there, despite the fact that my wife had bought this wine here previously and everyone else in the store knew exactly what we were talking about. I even punched up an image of the wine bottle on my phone to show them, and she still continued to argue, as though she were completely put off by the inconvenience of actually having to assist a customer. The other lady there, who was as delightful as the witch was sour, placed an order for my wife and promised that it would arrive the following week. Sadly, however, it didn't and when my wife called to inquire, she was informed that it would be another week but to expect a call. Of course, another week passed without a call and so my wife stopped by to see what was going on. To her chagrin, the store was being staffed this day by the hag, who curtly told my wife that the wine wasn't delivered and that there was nothing that she could do about it. She then pointed to a different wine and told my wife to try that instead. At this point my poor wife gave up and left instead of continuing to beat a dead horse. She is sadly so disgusted with K'Syrah and the troll who works there that she has not only decided never to return, but is going to give away her gift card to someone else and let that person deal with the frustration of trying to purchase anything from them. In a town such as Camas, where shops continually close because of lack of business, one would think that a business would be inclined to do all that they can to please the few customers they do get and inspire loyalty and repeat business. K'Syrah, however, seems to prefer hiring black-hearted dinosaurs who treat customers with contempt and annoyance and turn shopping into a trial. Sadly, after these repeatedly miserable experiences we will not be returning to K'Syrah and will instead be making our wine purchases at Trader Joe's. We really do try to support small, local businesses but when we are treated so poorly as this, it becomes a fool's errand and not at all worth our time. Good luck K'Syrah. Hopefully you either fire this evil old witch or some girl from Kansas lands a house on her, otherwise you likely won't remain in business much longer.
