The place was just recently renovated and has come back to its original ownership. No more tacky flowers and such. The restaurant was quaint, and had a nice mellow ambience. More importantly, the food was amazing!!! It was byfar the best Thai food my family and I have had in the El Cerrito/Richmond area. This place is such a gem because the owner/cook is this nice elderly woman who does her own cooking (it gives an authentic mom and pop feel). We ordered three dishes: chicken yellow curry, pad thai, and moo yung (spelling?) bbq pork (the entire dinner came out to $30). Although the pad thai was not THE best I've had, the two other dishes were! You could definitely taste the coconut milk in the curry, and the bbq pork was juicy and tangy (you could eat it w/out the sweet and sour sauce). GREAT service, SPECTACULAR FOOD, affordable prices, and a quiet and clean place.
