Ok, so the deep urge to have an ""angel filled"" Powdered doughnut from Krispy Kreme motivated me to get my 7 month old, twin 8 yr olds, and 11yr old in the car to make the 10 mile (round trip) to Krispy Kreme on Kennedy Blvd, in South Tampa. Once I arrived I was saddened to find out tht they no longer carried ""french cruelers"" just Cruelers (I asked what the difference was and the girl working didn't know) as well as no ""Angel creme filled powdered doughnuts., I Did however, get some glazed doughnuts which saved the trip but, still, the fact that they did not have what i went there for was a big disappointment. They did have chocolate white filled doughnuts, which we got and felt like I stuck a needle filled with pure sugar in my neck... Needless to say I only go like once a year or two but after today, I will only be going to Dunkin Doughnuts to get what I want Because, America runs on Dunkin :) more

Knowing first hand (the real krispy kreme) people would be outraged to know the working conditions these doughmuts are made. Employee's sweat over the doughnts and handled opened food. I've seen bugs on and around trays of doughnut. I seen dead rats by the dough bags. Worst of all managment knows when health inspectors will come and review the locations. They clean the day before to hid the truth. Some people don't even know that the only location who has fresh doughnts is florida Ave!! All other locations (brandon,Clearwater, Kennedy Blvd) are old doughnuts 4 days to be exact. They are reheated and covered in hot glazed. The wholesale doughnuts which are delivered to stores are also old and nasty. People touch them with their hands some are on the floor. The trucks are all dirty even the owns knows about this after seeing roaches all over the inside of the trucks. After working there and seeing what I saw. I want to know what we really are eat when we go to out to (fast food world)??? more

Best donuts other than my beloved Mum's who used to fry them for us every summer. The best part of hers is the best part of Krispy Kreme. . they were fresh and served warm right out of the deep fryer. Should have one on every corner. . . we drove the distance just to get one and the location is not easy to find if you do not know Tampa but worth the drive.Wait staff was very friendly and helped us get there too! more

I would hardly consider doughnuts & coffee a breakfeast but to each their own. more

Doughnuts not bad but don't compare to Dunkin Donuts. Great when warm. When buying from other stores, not quite as fresh. Pros: Cheap Cons: Not enough variety more
