Back in the day this was a great place to shop. Well stocked shelves. Great cheese selection, great spice selection,produce section was out of this world, Whenever I read one of my ""ethnic"" ccokbooks and got it into my head to try out a recipie, just about everything I wanted was here. As much as I love Dekalb Farmers Market, it's a bit of a haul- International Farmers Market is much closer. I went by today and my goodness, what a depressing trip. The empty parking lot should have been a clue, but I soldiered on thinking that the store was slow because of the 4th of July holiday. I think I was wrong--no fish, no meat, no frozen foods and there was barely any fresh produce. Cons: Appears that mangement does not care about the future of this store more

After driving out to the Dekalb Farmers market on a Saturday not too long ago, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Fresh produce, any kind of meat you wanted at a great price, unlimited supply of EVERYTHING. I was hoping to find this same experience at the International Farmers Market, right down the street from me...boy was I dissapointed. more
