Kress Inn, Ascend Hotel Collection

The Kress Inn is owned by St. Norbert College, which is a Catholic liberal arts college, so the Kress Inn is a catholic inn. Their staff is extremely nice and try their hardest to please you. My husband works at St. Norbert College and he helped our daughter get a job at the Kress Inn as soon as she turned 14, so she knows all of their little secrets. Her boss even gave a bunch of little kids the conference room to play in so that they didn't disturb the other people staying there. It really is the best place to stay at in De Pere. more

The Kress Inn is located in West De Pere by the Abbey and St. Norbert College. It's one of the cleanest, perfectionistic inn I've ever been in. And I know this from personal experience. I used to work there as a housekeeper. The owner is incredibly nice. One day there were a bunch of kids staying there for some kind of hockey tournament of something of that sort and they were roller blading down the halls playing hockey. So that they didn't disturb the other people, the owner allowed them to play in the conference room, even though we needed that room. Plus, rooms 200 and 300 have whirlpools and kind size beds, whereas most of the other rooms have queen sized beds. And there are some presidential suites too. There's even a workout room down by the lobby. Oh, and you can order room service from the Abbey, which has really yummy food. Every room has a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker, and some even have an oven. The Kress Inn is the best place to stay in De Pere, without a doubt. more
