  • Kraus Farms is a family owned and operated equestrian facility that has been in business for over 70 years. HORSE BOARDING: We offer full care box stall and pasture boarding. Stalls with attached runs are also available. The facility includes 120 stall, a 90' x 200' lighted indoor arena, 2 large lighted outdoor arenas, secure tack tomes, round pen and large turn-out pastures. The farm is situated next to 3600 acres of riding trails. Farm veterinarian and shoeing programs are available to boarders. RIDING LESSON: We offer Group, Semi-Private and Private Riding Lessons for English and Western Riding disciplines as well as Speed Events, Dressage, and Hunter/Jumper year round. Our program has a large number of lesson horses and instructors available to tailor and fit the needs of riders ranging in skill from the very beginner to advanced and accommodates riders from age 7 through adult. SUMMER & HOLIDAY CAMPS: We offer exciting camps in English & Western disciplines in a wide ran ge of skill levels. During camps our instructors focus on safety, horsemanship and fun. Activities include horseback riding, grooming, tacking, bathing, games, crafts, trail ride, education presentations by horse professionals and an end-of-week demonstration for parents. Our holiday camps are offered throughout the school year on days when most schools are not in session.

    We have a great staff of employees to cater to your needs. Our facility has a full time secretary, eight Riding Instructors to pick from and maintence staff to keep the place looking nice. -Then can you put what is above in general info but add to the Riding lessons this: Our students not only learn to be safe and confident riders, they also learn all aspects of horse care, including grooming and tacking. We also host fun horse shows each year, allowing students to gain valuable show experience in an enjoyable, relaxed environment. Lessons are available year round to the General Public as well as boarders. For those new to the program, an initial evaluation lesson is required to assess skill level. Individuals who choose to be evaluated for our lesson program must have the ability to follow and execute oral instruction.
