My girlfriend and I have been eating at Korma Sutra for about 3 years now and it may be our favorite restaurant in the kansas city area. It is not a large place and privacy is virtually non existent but there is a feel of eating at a nice Indian home. From what we can tell the majority of the staff is family, father running the place, daughter serving, and mother cleaning and setting up, it makes for a very comforting feel. The food is and always has been excellent. Chicken Tikka Masala is a no brainer for delicious, and the shrimp vindaloo really pops. I would reccommend doing the package dinner for 2 or how ever many people that you have. At just under $30 its a bargain for a wonderful 4 course dinner for 2. At the end a bus boy brings a stainless steel water pitcher and trey with limes, wash your hands with the lime and he will rinse them for you. This place is a sure thing.
Pros: Great food, great service
Cons: Not much privacy.
