Korean Place Restaurant

This was my second time to The Korean Place and I can't say enough about the food! The appetizers are out of this world, and a great start to your meal. Fast service, clean, good atmosphere. There is a limited menu so if you are someone who needs alot of choices this is not the place for you. The options they do have are served many different ways e;g; vegetarian, chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. Cons are the limited seating, cash only, and they are only open four days a week. It is a bit pricey $$ but worth every penny, both times I went I came home with leftovers. Food is served with chop sticks but feel free to ask for a fork. The hostess completes your meal with a complimentary lemon custard to clense the palate. I would highly recomend The Korean Place!!!!! Fantastic restaurant! A family owned business that has been around for 15 years (got that from a little chit chat with the hostess for a bit). Mandoo Appetizer was sooooooo good -- really authentic and delicious! Very similar to my mother's special recipe (she's Korean)! I had the crispy sirloin beef entree and it was mmM mMM MMM!!! - nothing left behind. Korean food is so delicious and not heavy, and this place does a great job capturing dishes that would accomodate any crowd of people. The people who work there are super friendly and charming. Restaurant has limited seating, but waiting if you have to. Atmosphere is relaxed and warm with the jazz music playing in the background and with the dim lighting (paper lanterns and holiday lighting). Restaurant locale is hidden, but definately worth looking for!! ... off the main street in the city Highly recommend!!! :) Pros: Authentic, Great Service, Friendly people Cons: , Open 4 days / week, Cash / Check only more
