I live in Oak Creek, but whenever I'm on the east side I have to stop in at Koppa's. This is a neighborhood grocery, deli, liquor store and gourmet foods shop all rolled into one...

I live in Oak Creek, but whenever I'm on the east side I have to stop in at Koppa's. This is a neighborhood grocery, deli, liquor store and gourmet foods shop all rolled into one super Mom & Pop operation (I just adore the Mom & Pop shops!). The prices are a bit higher than you'll find at most groceries, but the ambience, service and selection of unique items is well worth it. There's often a bit of kitsch thrown in as well, with humorous signs and t-shirts. PROS: Family owned, gourmet selection CONS: more

Not your average corner store 11/8/2005

At Koppas Farwell Foods you find fresh meat, fabulous sandwiches, and a great selection of wine and beer. But that is not nearly all. Friendly service and a fine selection of unique and interesting items are also available at this Eastside corner store. You will find humerous advertising slogans and on occasion, public posting of those who chose to write bad checks. Really, one of the happiest little places I have ever been in Mil town. Nice selection 11/6/2005

This corner grocery store has been in the Koppa family for many years. They offer a great deli and bakery, as well as fresh coffee. They also have food, as most stores do. The staff is nice but the prices are on the higher side but the food selection is very good and the fruits and vegitables are always fresh and crisp more

Cool little neighborhood grocer 10/31/2005

Koppa's is a great little independent grocery store located on Farwell on Milwaukee's Eastside. They have pretty good prices, alot of organic/whole food choices, and a very friendly staff. Worth shopping at if you live in the neighborhood. PROS: convenient, friendly CONS: Sometimes more expensive, but they offer specials more

This is a really fun and relaxed place to shop for groceries. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The deli is awesome. They have a huge selection for a small store and they always have really good deals. PROS: good prices, good selection CONS: there isn't one is every neighborhood more

This corner grocery store has been in the Koppa family for many years. They offer a great deli and bakery, as well as fresh coffee. They also have food, as most stores do, with prices that aren't sky high. The staff is extremely friendly and if you're Polish you may even want to buy one of their T-shirts that say "Polish Grocer"! more
