Awesome Experience 10/18/2010

My wife's family was in town last week so we took them here for teppan and sushi. Everyone loved it and raved about it the whole night. We were seated right away at one of the Teppan tables. Our service was impeccable and the cook at our table was fantastic, he was very entertaining and showed us a great time. For sushi we ordered the Captain Crunch, Half Baked, Fire Cracker, Beef and Konomi Rolls. They were all fantastic, I don't think I can choose just one. For teppan, I ordered the Chef's Choice which is Rib-eye and shrimp or scallop. The rib-eye was cooked to perfection and the scallops were great. We will definitely be coming back again. more

LOVE! 9/22/2010

I always come to Konomi on my birthday or for any type of celebration. My friends and I love to come here. The service is excellent and you are guaranteed to have a blast. The rolls are awesome, my favorite is the Captain Crunch. I always order from the Teppan menu, I either get the chicken and shrimp/scallop or the new york strip and shrimp/scallop. The quality of food here is excellent. With the excellent food and service you are guaranteed to have an amazing dining experience. more

Fun Time, Great Food! 8/16/2010

Konomi Restaurant and Grill is one of my favorite restaurants in the Iowa City and Coralville areas. I came here recently for my 22nd birthday and had a blast. The atmosphere here is super fun and the staff is outgoing, they made sure my friends and I had a great time. Not only is it a fun restaurant but the food is great, I would have to say they have the best sushi in the Iowa City and Coralville areas and the teppan grill is fun and a great idea for bigger groups. I would highly recommend eating at Konomi. more
