Kohl's Department Store

OK, so I try not to pay retail for anything. While my hubby and I both have good paying jobs, even if I won the LOTTERY (ohplease ohplease GOD letmewin), I still wouldn't pay retail for anything. That's one of the reasons I shop at Kohls. Kohls usually always has great sales. To me, a sale isn't a sale until the signs start saying 50% off, and Kohls always seems to have racks and racks of cool stuff at smart savings. Just last week, I went to their one-day-only sweter sale and stocked up on some cute sweaters and fleece things. And as a BONUS, their Halloween stuff was marked down to 90% off. So that's when I stock up on candles and holders and Halloween decor. Most of this stuff works all through the Thanksgiving season and makes fabu gifts! Wow what great sales they have here, today there was a buy one get one free sale on regular priced shorts, skorts, skirts, capris, novelty Ts and tanks which is great cause some of the items were name brands, what a deal. There were also many racks of 60% off. Not quite the quality of Dillards, more like what meryvns used to be. But they have a great selection and great prices. more

My hubby and I visited Kohl's this past weekend because it's time for him to get new tennis shoes! Kohl's is where we usually get his shoes. Normally he prefers New Balance, but this time, they had some Reebok's on sale. They were in his size and EXTRA WIDE! The poor guy has the widest feet I've ever seen. And not only did they have the shoes in his size, but they were ON SALE - 50% off! We browsed around a bit more and found a couple of things for me at 50% off and some underwear for him at buy two, get one free. Since he's pretty particular about his undies, we went ahead and got him a bunch. I'm a Kohl's fan for a long time, since they had them up north. While the store seems a bit cluttered, this is a great place to go to find deals and steals too! more

Kohls has some great sales almost weekly. They offer coupons throught the mail for card holders and at certain times you get $10 coupons redeamable later for spending a certain amount. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Great clothing for all members of the family. more
