Koehler's Stables

I had to move to an apartment from NH to Bethlehem. Roe let me send horses ahead and they were cared for till I arrived. I have stabled my horses there on and off for 9 years and \r if there was a problem and I spoke up it was corrected immediately.\r My horse Diamond was given as good care as I would have done myself. I live 5 minutes away so I checked frequently. He was turned out every day weather permitted.\r I would not hesitate to bring him back. They feed very well. No one was ever rough with a horse all the time I was there. Handling is so important.\r If you are going to own a horse be responsible and check up on the care no matter how fancy and expensive the place might be.\r JLC more

They dont turn ur horses out. In the winter of 2009-2010 they didnt turn them out at all, if they hate you, they beat your horse, one feeding a day. This place is terrible.\r Owners are great but unfortunatly they dont know how the runners of the stable treat the horses. Cons: People more

Hi im Kait and iv been taking lessons at Koehlers for a long time now and it is an amazing farm. Tom is the instructer and he is so nice and funny!!! If you want to take lessons there, it is the best place you can go! Frank Koehler seems very nice to. If you are a beginner you would start off by ither riding Cina-bun or Louie. I Love (and ride) Cina-bun. If you are advanced or above the begining level you may ride Suzie or Apolo. There is an in door and out door arena so when its cold you ride in door and when its hot and sunny you ride out door. It is so fun at Koehlers and everyone is nice too! Tom has a sence of humor so you are alyays laughing. I go on thursdays at about 5:00 so it easy to fit into scedual! You wont doubt going there! FYI its $35.00 for a half hour!! Koehler's Stables is an EXCELLENT place to take lessons or to board your horse or pony. The horses are all well cared for in every way. The owners take care of these horses as if hey were their own. What more can you ask for? more
