great food, great customer service, cozy, flavorful 9/16/2007

My wife and I have tried this place several times, and love it more and more.It is a small place that is packed with great taste. Don't let the size fool you.the drinks are good too.The food that we chose each time has been fantastic. Definite things to try are the Lamb chops,Tofu steak and the Diver scallops. Try the Steak salad. The Short Rib noodles was great. So tender and moist. The Spicy soup was good too.We had the Banana dessert which was awesome too. They have these soup pots that can be cooked at your table, thats right at your table! They have different seasons and flavors to try. You can add meats or fishes to them.It is a great date place as my wife and I still love to go out on dates and this place keeps you close to enjoy your food and your company. A place that should be seen.A treasure. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is plenty more things on the menu that we are looking to try and can't wait to go back. The soups on, now go and have some. Pros: taste, quality, music, service, Cons: Parking is ok.Its typical NY. Haven't had a problem more

Simple, excellent 4/1/2007

My husband and I decided to try this little hole in the wall and are we glad we did. Everything was excellent. We shared two appetizers and one entree, which was perfect for two. The lamb chops were delicious and perfectly cooked. The short ribs with udon noodles are to die for. I'm pregnant and I warned him of future take-out trips in his future. Pros: everything edible Cons: it is tiny more

Great food and drinks! 2/22/2007

Went out the other night and took my date here. We shared a couple delicious appetizers and had the shabu-shabu. Aside from the excellent taste, the portions were perfect for a romantic date. And the great ambiance and music topped the whole experience off. Also, the drink menu is really cool - i had a pomegranate-blueberry cosmopolitan which was amazing - unlike anything i've tried before. Will definitely return! Pros: great service, intimate, and good prices. more

WInter Getaway 12/12/2006

Last Friday, it was freezing, I happen to pass by this small tiny restaurant and this beautiful wood entrance door caught my eyes so I back tracked to see what type of food they serve. What do you know, Shabu-Shabu, my favorite especially in the winter. I ordered the ""Winter"" and my friend ordered ""Spring"". Unlike the regular Shabury Restaurant, the burners are set beneth the table with a hole cut on the tabletop to set the hot-pot, this restaurant had a flush tabletop induction burners, a very handsome looking appliances. Pros: Very Cozy Cons: Little expensive more
