Good for the Whole Family 8/19/2005

Knotts Berry Farm is one of the better parks that I've been to. It's small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed and it's easy to finish the park in a day without missing anything. There is lots to do for people who don't like coasters and lots for the kids to do without having to have an adult ride with them. The food could be a little better, but I have had worse amusement park food. There are always admission specials that make visiting the park affordable. The one I like most is the half price after four. If the park is open until 10 or 11, it's easy to get your moneys worth. more

Knott's 8/18/2005

Knott’s Berry Farm doesn’t have much thrill as Magic Mountain or the fantasy atmosphere as Disneyland, but it’s still enjoyable. I don’t like the rides here as much as some other parks, but Knott’s offers history. The price is a lot cheaper than Disneyland. If you plan to visit, be sure to visit Mrs. Knott’s. The wait is extremely long, but the food there is worth it. more

Knotts Berry Farm 8/18/2005

Knotts Berry Farm is a great place for all ages, they offer amusement rides for everyone form four to eighty four! Many people may call it not up todays standards compared with Magic Mountain but I call it even more intense then THAT! the reason? well theres two, a ride called "the silver bullet" and "accelerator". "accelerator is an insane ride that has a straight down one hundred and fifty foot drop!. more

Great Amusment Park 8/15/2005

This is a fun amusement park that has some fun rides. It cannot compare to Disneyland, but it does have many attractions. The price is considerably cheaper then Disneyland because there are always coupons and promotions going on, which Disneyland never does. They have some great roller coasters with relatively short lines. more

Kind of Shady, but Fun 8/15/2005

Though usually overrun with gangbangers and older and not as well kept as its more well-known competitors, Knott's provides a fun experience with a little character (strange character, but character none the less). The thrill rides are more thrilling than those you'll find at Disneyland, but the theming is lacking. It's a mixed bag with Knotts. During October, the entire park transforms into Knott's Scary Farm where the streets are filled with chemical fog and hundreds of actors lurking in dark corners waiting to pounce. Last year there were about 12 haunted houses/ mazes and about five shows. The highlight of my year, I highly reccomend this place after dusk in October. more

Fun amusement park 8/14/2005

I really like this place more than Disneyland. This amusement park has a more western feel to it without all the annoying cartoon characters. My favorite ride was the Silver Bullet - a massive, twisty, turny roller coaster. Admission is pricey especially if you are bringing the whole family. Might be good to look for coupons/promos to knock off the price. Make sure to get some of Knott's famous fruit jellies! more

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY 8/11/2005

Knott's Berry Farm truly has something for everyone in your family. Camp Snoopy for the little ones with rides specially made for those 7 and under and plenty of Peanuts character to see. For the thrill seekers try Ghost Rider, Silver Bullet and a classic Montesumas Revenge. The rides are not as thrilling as those in Magic Mountain, but definately a little better than the baby rides at Disneyland. For those who do not like rides, there is plenty to see in Ghost Town. Candle Makers, and old cemetary and plenty of shops. The price is an average value but call them ahead of time and ask them what promotions they are running. Usually you can buy tickets at Ralph's Grocery Store and save a bundle. more

Treat your family out! 8/8/2005

Has your 9 to 5 job gone stale? Are your kids dying of boredom? Take your whole family out to an amusement park! Knott's Berry Farm is fun for the whole family. There are rides for people of all ages. Knott's Berry Farm isn't *cheap* but it's much cheaper than Disneyland. The traffic leading to Knott's Berry Farm isn't as congested as the traffic leading to Disneyland. I would highly recommend visiting Knott's Berry Farm during Halloween, when they're hosting Knott's Scary Farm. more

a fun place to visit 8/7/2005

Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park is a fun place to take the family. It's definitely not a place for thrill seekers as the rides seem to be a little more low-key than that. It's great for kids, though. The Camp Snoopy area is perfect for younger kids.I'd say the rides there are geared toward the 3-6 age range. There are a couple of roller coasters for older kids and adults which of course, includes the time tested Montezuma's Revenge. This is a great place to spend the day. more

Family Fun! 8/7/2005

Knotts Berry Farm is one of our favorite places to take the kids. The admission is very reasonable for kids, and there are often promotions going on as well for adults. The rides are great, and the y have really been adding lots of great, new roller coasters. If you go, you HAVE to indulge in the Boysenberry punch and or desserts. They are famous for it, and its really yummy. Even on weekends, this place isnt overly crowded, and the childrens section called "Camp Snoopy Town" is a total gem. more

Knotts Berry Farm 8/6/2005

Knotts Berry Farm is a wonderful theme park for which to take the kids and any out of town guests. We love the food there as well especially the apple pie as it is so delicious. Camp Snoopy is great for the toddler set and we love going there whenever we can! They do accept the AAA discount card as well, and often run lots of local promotions. more

Knott's Scary Farm 8/6/2005

This is an once a year special event that takes place in Knott's Berry Farm. Every year for the month of October at night time all the staffs wear professional costumes to scare people. This is the perfect time when comes to planning to hang out with your gf/bf or a bunch of friends to hang out. Remember to buy your ticket early or else it will be sold out! Don't think about buying ticket at the gate cuz most of the time it's sold out! more

Nice cheap amusement park fun 8/4/2005

For $35 on a weekend, you can go to Knotts Berry Farm and go to Snoopy's Backyard BBQ all you can eat as well for lunch. You can't beat that! Well, other amusement parks can't at least. This local amusement park is fun, you have to try Supreme Scream. Xcelerator is great fun, and the launch is incredible. You can feel your skeleton jumping out of your body! well, almost. It's still fun. more

Fun for the whole family 8/4/2005

Knott's Berry Farm is the second biggest amusement park in Orange County, second to, of course, Disneyland. Knott's does have some good rides however, and their Knott's Scary Farm is probably the best part of the theme park. I've been to Knott's Scary Farm every year since I've moved to CA...it's become sort of a Halloween tradtion for me...definitely something to check out and worth a night of your time. They also have a few new rides that are good...and if you are brave enough, the Supreme Scream is not to be missed! Definitely recommended. more

Snoopy 8/4/2005

This place has lots of fun rides, good food, and a little place inside the park called Camp Snoopy for people who have little kids that aren't old or tall enough for the big rides. They also have good shows that you can go watch when you need your feet to rest for a little while. more

Fun amusement park... 7/28/2005

Knott's Berry Farm is a family favorite of ours. We love to go on the roller coasters and play in the children's play area. We also pan for gold when we go. It is so much fun and doesn't cost much. We try to go when they offer the kids special of $9.95 per child. Adult admission is between $20 and $30 usually, depending on the current promotion. During Halloween, they deck the whole place out as Knott's Scary Farm, which is geared a little more for teens and the older crowd, but is so much fun! more

Nice Amusement Park 7/25/2005

Somewhat lost among Southern California's vast array of theme parks and attractions, Knott's Berry Farm makes up for it by having many promotional offers in collaboration with local supermarkets for discounted admission. Highlights of the park include Ghostrider, Boomerang, Xcelerator, Timber Mtn Log ride, Supreme Scream etc. Overall a good combination of rides and shows and a pretty good value to boot. more
