I always heard good stuff about knockout pest control except that they were more expensive, but when I had a problem I went to call them because of their great service reputation and discovered that they offered significant discounts and had a coupon on their website. In the end they quickly solved my problem and were very competitively priced for exceptional and courteous service. I couldn?t ask for anything more. They even have an offer to pay people for referring their business, so for the price I got a very good deal. more

I’ve heard so many horror stories about bed bugs and the complexity and ordeal one has to go through to get rid of them. So when I discovered that I had bed bug bites I was more than distressed. I researched a bunch of NY exterminators who said they were bed bug exterminating experts. I called a bunch of them and eventually picked Knockout Pest. They seemed to know what they were talking about on the phone. They were cheaper than most. They promised they were faster than other treatment methods. They promised to be thorough and not damage my stuff. They were also very honest not making any promises saying that they might have to come back for another treatment. They brought a dog to find the bed bug hiding places. The bugs weren’t just in my bedroom. I was shocked when the dog detected bed bugs in my living room and they showed me tiny bed bugs in my sofa. It took two treatments about a week apart. They used a bunch of stuff including a special vacuum and some freezing spray thing. It has now been 4 months since they last came and I have no bites and no sign of bed beds anywhere. I promised them I would write a review if I was happy with their service and results. I was expecting to write a bad review but honestly I can’t be happier. I totally recommend them. They made a horrible experience into a relatively tolerable and well managed one. more

I recently had a very bad ant problem in my kitchen and I was referred to Knockout by a neighbor. The gentlemen who came were very polite and respectful. They did a fabulous job and even went so far as to caulk tiny spaces where ants were coming in from the outside. We talked about other pest issues that I experience throughout the year. We live in an old house in Westchester NY. The home is over 100 years old, with a long history of insect infestations, termites and the more than the occasional mouse. Over the 35 years we?ve lived here we have called dozens of exterminators. Just before spring I called Knockout responding to a radio ad my wife heard. I went to their website and I was impressed with all of the information it had on it. I called the company on a Saturday and they sent someone the very same day to talk to me about all my pest problems. I was very worried because I heard it was going to be a worse year than previous years because of all of the heavy snows and spring rains. It has now been a couple of months since the exterminators from Knockout came to the house and did their stuff. For the first time in 35 years ? WE HAVE NOTHING. No bugs. WE don?t have a single ant crawling around the house. I was so impressed I called Knockout to get their annual pest protection plan. I never do that. more

These guys were amazing. They saved me a lot of time and money. They are clear and tell you what to do, on your behalf to properly get rid of bed bugs. Yeah, you have to get a heating unit and wash your clothes and sheets, but its worth it! Guy bellow was probably getting them from his job or did not follow procedures. Knockout Pest Control just did a fabulous job getting rid of my bed bug problem. I was just going to post this as a thank you, and then I read a post by someone who had a bad experience. Clearly they didn't understand about putting stuff in plastic bags. You aren't supposed to take bed bug infested stuff in and out of the bag. The articles of clothing and other items are supposed to be treated. No wonder Knockout Pest keeps having to come back- this guy is continually re-infesting his apartment with the bed bugs hidden in his clothes protected in the plastic bags. I took my clothes to the neighborhood dry cleaner and they sent them out. To be totally honest- Knockout came back once more and gave me a second bed bug extermination treatment. It has been 2 months and I am bed bug free.I can't say enough how knowledgeable and helpful these guys from Knockout were. I highly recommend them. And they're a whole lot cheaper than other bed bug exterminators who heat up your whole house- Faster more

I had high hopes based on reviews that Knockout would rid my small one room studio in NYC of bedbugs (bb). Unfortunately approx. 1 month later and nearly $2000 poorer, I am still getting bitten and still living out of bb proof plastic bags. The first 2 freezing treatments appeared to be thorough, the third did not include freezing, only chemical (Bedlam). I thought that was odd but the technician told me the third treatment did not require freezing. I started getting bad bites again 2 weeks later and called the company and Rossmary told me the cryo machine had broken that day. I was extremely angry that I was lied to and requested that another technician be sent for another freezing treatment since it was nearly a month since the last one. The next treatment appeared to me to be much more complete than all of the rest, but still 2 weeks later I was still receiving bites. I called Knockout but they refused to do another follow up and said that it is NY State Law that I capture a live bb and save it as proof in order for them to perform another follow up. BBs are very elusive and I've been unable to do so. The supervisor was very defensive and suggested several times I may be getting bites elsewhere or from another type of bug. My bites are the typical ""breakfast, lunch, dinner"" bites"". The bottom line is I'm out alot of money and still getting bites. Knockout Pest Control may be good at getting rid of many types of ""pests"", but if they couldn't rid a 350 square foot apt of Bedbugs in 4 treatments than I would not be able to recommend them to anyone.\r \r more

WOW. I can't say enough about how great these guys are. They were great with me when I called all freaked out about bed bugs in my apartment. They came in hours. They took only 33 hours to treat my entire place and they even checked out my car. I thought treatment would turn my world upside down, but these guys were real pros and were more than helpful. They even guaranteed their work! I highly recommend these guys. more

three exterminators and 9 months of dealing with bed bugs- heard on cbs and called these guys- finally a company that knew what they were doing- brought a search dog- high tech equipment- took 2 hours- AND told me how to avoid getting re infested- 3weeks later and not 1 bug in monitoring caps- I love these guys- they're on my XMAS LIST! more

I'm not quite sure what this fellow Chris V. is talking about, not having any first hand knowledge, but I reviewed all of the comments below before I called KnockOut Pest Control for info and estimates. They were indeed the nicest of all of the companies that I called. They also offer the new Sentracon Termite System which I will be having put in this Spring. The woman on the phone was very nice, and the informative about the products and payments. more

The existing comments sound more like an advertisment put there by the company. I have not used this company but I know people who have used them. Recently a technician from the company showed up at my friends home. Neither she nor her husband was home. The man told the babysitter that he need to speak to the owner immediately. The sitter called my friend at work. When my friend called the company to inquire what was going on the women from the company was very nasty to her on the phone. Acussed her of "ditching her bill". The fact was, my friends contract just expired and she hadn't decided if she was going to renew the contract. She was not very happy with the service and was exploring her options. The representative from the company was very rude and told her that she either provides a credit card number or the technician would remove the sentricon devices. My friend told her that she was not giving permission for the tech to be on her property and he was to leave until more

Knockout pest control is great to phone as soon as you see a small problem. If you see just a few ants or just one mouse, those few ants or one mouse have a whole bunch of buddies lurking where you can't see them. If you have even a slightly visible problem then you have a problem. Left untreated, you could have a crisis. Knockout Pest Control are excellent professional termite exterminators and other pests. When I had termites in my deck I asked around to my aquintances and they reccomended this service. After 1 session Knockout Pest Control removed the termites 2 years ago and they have not returned! The prices for this exterminator are about average. more
