We lived in Blowing Rock (born and raised) for over thirty years and have eaten at Knights hundreds of times over the years,never a bad meal or a problem!We still have a home up there but now reside in the flatland.We always try to schedule our home maintenance trips to be up there on Thursday to get those oysters,but you better get there early!! As a local, I can say Knights is a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I've never had a bad meal there! Pros: Great food, good people, love the burgers, salads, omletts, fish...... Cons: Parking more

My husband and I ate lunch here and were not disappointed. The food was wonderful, decent portions for reasonable prices. My husband claims that it was the best mushroom swiss burger he has ever eaten (and he's eaten a lot of them) plus it was HUGE!!! I could not believe he finished it. My grilled ham and cheese was good and there was quite a large amount of ham, which isn't always the case in some restaurants. Some ladies at the table next to us were highly impressed with their flounder! Typical diner atmosphere and not very large seating capacity, but well worth the wait to be seated. I find that anytime you have a lot of ""locals"" at a smaller restaurant in a tourist area, its a good indication of whether the food is good or not. It was. Highly recommend however I wouldn't recommend using the bathroom facilities.
