Ali and staff have been taking care of our cars for years. They are friendly and competent, but most importantly they are honest. I was in the shop one day and heard Ali tell a customer that they really did not need a repair that was recommended by the dealership. The customer could not believe Ali telling her that, because the repairs at the dealership were over $1200. \r \r Another time I was in the waiting area and an older lady came in for an oil change and wanted new tires. Ali told her he'd check everything out and let her know. He came back and told her the oil change was done, but she could wait on the tires. He told her that when she came back in a few months for her next oil change, he'd check the tires again. He could have sold her 4 new tires and she wouldn't have known the difference! \r \r The auto repair industry has such a bad reputation, especially when it comes to single women and the elderly. I ran into the misfortune of dropping my car off here for a look under the hood. I informed the technician that I needed to know the cost of any service before it was performed on my vehicle because I am on a tight budget. The technician called me with the estimate for repairs and also let me know I owe them $65 for the diagnostic he ran on the car. Without my permission! I consider this a dishonest method of making a quick buck. Over the years, I have had success taking my vehicles to many repair shops without this assumed hidden fee and this business only created more problems for me. I do not recommend a business that places their own interests over their customer's wishes. more

Knightdale Tire & Service Center is conv. located on the out skirts of Knightdale towrd wendell. The only con I have about Knightdale Tire & Service Center is, if you do not have any knowledge about your car or truck, they will tell you, you need this done, that done and besides what you went in for. Other than that, it's an okay place to have your tires changed and to have minor work done on your car. more
