Aside from the service and rude staff, this optical center's policies, which I believe are from a corportion called Amerivision, impose fees and policies that are not necessary and clearly only designed to get more money out of each patient. Like the one where if you don't buy a box of contacts for each eye you have to pay a $30 fee to have trial first to see if they are right for you. Also if you procrastinate on coming in to verify your contact lens script from the trial they will not let you buy a box of contacts to verify later. They make you pay for another exam even if it has only been a month or so and your exam is good for a year, according to the FDA. Also, don't count on getting the glasses you really want, because a computer program is likely to pop up and tell you you can't be fit with certain frames, never experienced that before and have been wearing glasses for over 35 years. You are then left to choose from a very limited selection. Don't let the low advertised prices fool you, you'll end up paying much more. In my opinion, For what you wind up paying you're better off to go elsewhere with better service and without the ridiculous "" pocket picking"" policies.
