My uncle is a widower with some early Alzheimer's-type memory problems and I am his main support for help with complex issues and tough decisions. That said, my uncle and I count our blessings (as should our whole community) that Dr. Soble is now practicing in our area.
What started out with my uncle passing some bloodclots, ended up being a complex combination of a kidney tumor, infection, prostate enlargement and stones. We were totally overwhelmed. But Dr. Soble took the time to go through everything with us, showing us the films and explaining all the options. With his help we could break down these problems, prioritize and tackle each one with understanding and confidence. That sort of trust is not easily gained by my uncle.
When it came time to treat the kidney cancer we were very fortunate that Dr. Soble is an expert at minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery. I did the research for my uncle, getting recommendations and opinions from the university experts and found that Dr. Soble was known and respected, either directly or by reputation, by all. He was trained by, and then went on to teach some of the best in the country.
Long story short, my uncle stayed right here for all his care and has done great. His surgery went without a hitch and he was home in less than two days. Fast recovery and cancer free. We couldn't ask for anything better. Thanks Dr. Soble.
Pros: Expertise, Communication, Genuinely Caring
Cons: Bring a book, sometimes need to wait a bit.
