Klesick Family Farm

I've been a Klesick customer for three years and I love it, hands down! (But I would like to make a correction to Christie's comment-the small box is only $24, not $42!) Every tuesday is the highlight of my daughter's week-she runs and gets me as soon as she sees the van pull up in front of our house. Other than staple items, this is where almost all of our weekly groceries come from. We've even purchased their grass fed beef (delicious!) And because you get an assortment of seasonal items in each box, I've tried things I never would have bought at the store. more

I have used the Klesick Farm off and on for 3 years...and have never been disappointed. Please it is time to support local farmers... lest we lose the earth to big business and continue to eat too much non-nutriative contaminated food! A friend recommended this business, and I'm so glad she did! Once a week I have a "small" box of various fruits and vegetables delivered to my home for an unbelievably reasonable price. Each delivery contains a recipe for one of the vegetables. Because of the assortment of produce, my family is already eating so much healthier! I love this service! more

Each box includes a newsletter with stories about life on the farm and recipes to help you use up your produce. A "small" mixed box of fruits and veg. (which I can barely go through in a month) costs $42. These guys really care about what they're doing, and they pay outstanding attention to detail. One summer day when it was hot out, I came home from work to find a note pinned to the front door saying that my box had been left under the eaves on the side of the house to protect the produce. Wow! I've taken to buying produce storage bags at Whole Foods, which makes everything stay fresh way longer. It's a good feeling to support a local business. more
