I really couldn’t gain much by the surgery did at David Klei 1/27/2010

I had recently had lasik at David Kleiman Eye Center and my eyes feel like they have been burnt, as if I have been staring at a bright welding rod all day. I have pain when I sleep as well but its the worst when I am trying to read or working on the computer, David Kleiman didn’t even bother to give me some prescriptions. Eyes don't seem to want to work together. I'm worried that I will have these problems for the rest of my life, I now have problems walking down a hall with blurry vision, and I did not have this before even without glasses. These things can go bad, done through private clinics that only have making money in mind and not always the patients best interest. Why did I do it? Basically I did it because I was naive enough to think that since these were medical professionals I was dealing with they would have my best interest in mind. I should have been ruled out as a candidate for surgery because my eyesight was already fairly good and the risk was too high as I really couldn’t gain much by the surgery did at David Kleiman. The bottom line for David Kleiman is the the money he can r 1/26/2010

I can not see properly indoors during the day, and i have bad vision indoors in the evenings due to significant loss of contrast sensitivity. I find it very difficult to drive at night due to significant starbursting and halos around all lighting sources. I can not enjoy many of the leisure activities that I used to, such as: movies, playing cards and going out to a dimly lit pub with friends. I never figured it could turn out this way, I feel like living at decent life from this point on will be very difficult.David Kleiman Eye Center that did my eyes , did not bother to tell me ahead of time that my large pupil size was a serious threat to my night vision. I feel like such an idiot for putting my trust in David Kleiman who is not qualified enough to deserve it. Qualifications that I feel were lacking were both technical and honesty. it may take a lifetime to 'fix' whatever they messed up at D 1/26/2010

Dr. David Kleiman checked me was texting & laughing at the front desk when I cam in. I asked David Kleiman if he knew what he was doing & I got a ""yeah"" and a laugh. Another person in the office that day was having 'issues' just like me! When they saw us talking we got dirty looks & they quickly separated us & moved us from the other people there. I guess they didn’t want us to chase away their new VICTIMS! Wow - I feel like a huge victim of the old 'bait & switch"" The doctor reassures me every time I come in and tells me its 'perfectly normal' for this to happen - but this is my vision we are talking about & now I can barely work with the headaches I get. Don’t go to Kleiman Eye Center! Do some research! Pay a little more if you have to! I thought it was great because I had the ""Lifetime"" plan but now I know why - it may take a lifetime to 'fix' whatever they messed up at David Kleiman Eye Center. Very un-businesslike! 1/25/2010

I had my surgery at David Kleiman Eye Center. I still cannot see! I understand that is what happens when you have the surgery without a flap but I did not! Dr. David Kleiman did my exam he was not very informative and thorough but when I went back for my surgery the person, who said they would be in there with me, was not. I then had my instructions and got 2 different sets from 2 different people and one was the receptionist and she acted like I was a bother for asking her questions. After my surgery I was ushered out like ""you're done - now get out - NEXT!"" The doctor didn’t seem very nice until I overheard some of the other workers discussing 'issues' that they had been having! I wish I had heard of David Kleiman before my surgery, but I heard it while waiting for my ride! I have gone back to all my appointments (which ended up being many more than I was told in the beginning!! Due to my 'problems with healing' from what I was told) when going in for my appointments they were very un-businesslike! Cons: Rip off scammer con artist more

He ripped me off 1/22/2010

I had Lasik surgery done in at David Kleiman. I wish I had saved the money. I started out thinking it would cost $4000 the whole lasik surgery as was advertised. After I was checked into hotel in the area, prepped for the procedure and been there for hours, I was told I was only a candidate for the more expensive Zyoptic procedure. I went for it as I was already prepared and it left me with dry eyes which after a million bottles of expensive eye drops, did not help. Now my vision is worse because of the dry eyes, my used to be great night vision is gone forever, and I am now back in glasses again! David Kleiman wanted to redo the procedure where I had it done originally (which was part of the $4000.00 I paid) but went to a local doctor and was told not to, as it may further the problem with the dry eyes. Perhaps they have gotten better at it over the years but I know alot of other people who have had trouble too with Dr. David Kleiman. Cons: Con artist overcharged rip off more

WORST DOCTOR POSSIBLE 1/22/2010

Despite telling my surgeon of eye issues that made me a marginal candidate if not outright poor candidate for Laski eye surgery, he told me I was an excellent candidate and has left me with severe dry eyes, starbursts and haloes at night and ghosted images. I am still wearing glasses because I was under corrected from the start but due to all the undiagnosed eye health issues, I was never able to have further surgery by Dr. David Kleiman to correct my vision. David Kleiman did not do any of the required screening to measure my tear quantity or quality that is critical to a successful outcome and to avoid the exact complications I have experienced for 3 years and what will likely be the rest of my life. David Kleiman Eye Center freely acknowledges a lack of informed consent and that they knew I had both dry eyes and large pupils but that he'd ""deal"" with them after the fact. Since I made it clear that I was not willing to take any additional risks I can only assume he knew I'd refuse the surgery if he warned me ahead of time and wanted my $3,000. I hope justice is made. There are better doctors than David Kleiman. 1/21/2010

Just want WARN ANYONE who plan's to use David Kleiman Eye center. First of all they tried to charge me $4000 for a 30 minute eye Laski. When I expressed displeasure that I would get my prescriptions filled else where they would want to negotiate price. Against my better judgment I accepted and that was a BIG MISTAKE. When I went for a check up I stood up front for 2 hours and they ignored me!!! Unless you are filthy rich or just plain stupid I would not go to Dr. David Kleiman. The David Kleiman Eye Center is nothing but a BAIT 1/21/2010

There was a time when you could trust what a doctor was telling you. Well, it is just not like that anymore. I went to the David Kleiman Eye center after hearing their advertisements and how great and advanced their technology was and I have to say before my surgery I was convinced. I am almost blind now! My vision is cloudy and I see double. I Am Almost Blind Now - Lasik The glare of the light hurts my eyes and gives me massive pains in my head. I have waited for many months for my eyes to heal and I kept hoping that my sight would get better. It did not. I now have to wear glasses for everything I do thanks to the shaky hands of Dr. David Kleiman. There is better technology available and I now have to repair the damage done at David Kleiman. They make you sign releases before you have the surgery and now I see why. I doubt I am the only one with this result considering the lack of technology they have. The David Kleiman Eye Center is nothing but a BAIT and SWITCH scam. They are not using any special technology but instead are using the old blade lasik. David Kleiman is a derelict 1/20/2010

After about one RK surgery, 3-4 eye enhancements, one suture and a Lasik procedure all on my left eye at David Kleiman Eye Center, this left me with a horrible acuity and sight. I have ghosting double and sometimes triple vision, star busting and acuity of looking through a ground glass or the bottom of a coke bottle. I am left with an irregular stigmatism and a butchered cornea. Dr. David Kleiman’s quality of work is atrocious. The cavalier thing about this is he offers no solution or recompense. Four other doctors have stated that David Kleiman is a derelict is there any doctor out there willing, capable and with quality in mind? Cons: Scam Rip off more

In my opinion Dr David Kleiman should not be called a doctor of medicine! What he did to me I consider to be criminal! I trusted David Kleiman to do a very simple procedure, and I've suffered every since! I've been to many other doctors since and they have all told me that what this man did to me cannot be reversed! Too much tissue and nerve damage! He told me he was Board Certified in plastic surgery, since then I checked and learned he lied to me about that too! He is not Board Certified in Plastic Surgery! David Kleiman is a rip off 1/19/2010

I visited David Kleiman Eye Center to possibly have lasik Vision Correction. I spoke with David Kleiman on the phone and set up an appointment. He told me over the phone that all I would need was 120 dollars down and I could get my vision correction. I had the exam done and at the end of the exam they ran my credit card and then told me I would need 2000 dollars down. I refused the surgery because of the false promises I was made over the phone. They told me they would refund me or give me a credit at the eyeglass place to get glasses or contacts. I chose to receive a full refund. Dr. David Kleiman sent me a receipt for the refund on my card and told me I was all set. Later I found out they took the money out of my account anyways which over drew my bank account. I called them and asked them why they debited my account and they told me that my refund would take 7 days to receive, well this DID NOT happen. Cons: Con artist more

I would have never done it. 1/18/2010

I had nearsightness -6.25 & -6.0, before my 2 Lasik surgeries at David Kleiman Eye Center. My right eye after the surgery became -.75 astigmatism. As years go by, my nearsightness comes back, now -.1 & -.75+1.25 astigmatism. I went back to Dr. David Kleiman but because of the Lasik, my eyes become so flat that none of the contact lens will fit me. I am so remorsed and upset. I have to wear glasses everyday now and no more contact lens. Whenever friends want to do it, I will strongly tell them not to go to Dr. David Kleiman. Should I knew that the nearsightness will come back, I would have never done it. Cons: Rip off more

David Kleiman is a bad doctor a scam 1/17/2010

About 1 hour after Dr David Kleiman performed Lasik surgery on me, a disastrous operation wich shows his incompetence, I couldn't even open my eyes and they were tearing profusely because . I kept trying over and over again to sleep it off, but I kept waking up because of the pain. After the first 30 days, my eyesight started getting worse. It still wasn't as bad as it started out as (I had -4.75 prescription prior and it was now -.75). It wasn't so bad that I needed a legal prescription to drive, but I couldn't really see in dim or dark areas. If I drive at night I really need the contacts. During the day, I just can't see street signs until it are too late. I don't recommend going to David Kleiman for an operation, his employees at David Kleiman Eye Center are very rude and his skills need improvement. Cons: Con Arist unprofessional more

Dr David Kleiman is the worst doctor ever. The staff at David Kleiman laser center is the rudest I have ever talked to. David Kleiman needs to open his eyes (or have them checked by another eye doctor) as he is blind at what he is putting his patients through. Doctors like this should automatically have their license taken away even if they are clinically sound. Cons: stole my money more

Dr David Kleiman’s negligence almost cost my wife her vision. In September 2009 David Kleiman told my wife that her eyes were as good as gold. She had retinal detachment in both eyes caused by diabetic retinopathy that takes decades to set in and not four weeks. We were most disappointed. As Patients we trust Doctors, should we not? I fell that at David Kleiman Laser center this is complete malpractice. Cons: We were most disappointed. more

David Kleiman false advertising 1/14/2010

I went to David Kleiman after hearing advertising that was completely false. The advertising said a price that was at least half of what they wanted from me after going there for an exam. There is nothing special about the lasik I need and they are complete liars, yes Dr. David Kleiman is a liar. You can see through the whole process what they are up to and at the end they tell me the procedure is going to cost almost 5000 dollars after advertising less than half of that. David Kleiman is not a good doctor I hope other people will know what to do when they hear of him. Cons: Bad doctor , false advertising more
