Kleemax Properties

I currently live in a Kleemax rental property. They lied about what would be getting fixed over the last year (deteriorating front steps which pools water around the entry door, garage doors not working, back yard unusable). They want to charge renters top price for the apartments when all the surrounding buildings are at least $100 less per month and house drug dealers/addicts. They are slow to respond to maintenance requests and you have to email them repeatedly just to get someone to respond. I've lived in many different types of rentals and this place is by far the biggest disappointment. They give the bait and switch by telling you the place will be getting fixed up, but then they never fix it up, but are more than happy to raise the rent the next year. Kleemax is a bunch of greedy property owners who forget they are dealing with humans. I regret renting from them and can't wait to move. more

I was so happy to find the perfect apartment in Hyde Park in an amazing location within walking distance to the square. The property owners take great care of our building and make sure the tenants are happy. I read this other review and figured I should write one to tell of my experience since it has been nothing but fantastic. They tell you all the costs you will incur upon moving out all spelled out upfront in your lease. I can only think that if they did charge someone for leaving a place not as was outlined in the agreement that it was for good reason. Nice people, fair and professional in my opinion. more
