A Shop you can trust 1/5/2017

Have the Front end on my Toyota Corolla S re-aligned. The service was reasonably priced. The car drove well after the alignment, and the work was done in a timely fashion. more

i was shocked that a 2013 kia w/32k miles needed total front brakes, i should of ask you to save parts, someting does not look good with the manufacture of these pars. more

We have complete trust in Klamm Automotive. They are a 3rd generation family owned local business that have stood the test of time. We have had them do all our front end alignments on all our vehicles for many years now. Their service is wonderful, timely, excellent, honest and fair. Everyone I talk to in the old car community in Racine and Kenosha said the same thing when I asked where to get my car (a 1969 model) aligned - they all said to go to Klamm Automotive. Now I know why, scheduling an appointment was no fuss - even for a car being delivered and picked up by a flatbed. The guys took the time to get the car dialed in to the precise settings requested and I couldn't be happier. My new default shop. more

Botched oil change 8/22/2016

Mixed reviews on this visit. Brought it in for an oil change, which I've done before, as well as diagnosis on a grinding sound. Jared figured out that I had major issues with the main accessory belt but recommended that I take the car to someone experienced with this type of Volvo repair, as he'd never done it before. He recommended another local mechanic, who he'd already spoken to about the issue. I appreciated his honesty. When I was driving home that night, the low oil light came on. Took it to another mechanic the next day for the belt issue and found that the car needed an entire quart of oil added to it. So disappointing since an oil change is basic and they should be able to put in the right quantity of oil, especially checking the level before sending it out! I am not sure yet if I'll go back. Very disappointed. more

Personal touch given to aligning my vintage Cadillac. 7/11/2016

Mr. Klamm Sr. , who is semi-retired, did the alignment on my 1963 Cadillac. Then he road-tested the car asking me how I drove the car. He gave me advice as to tire selection and pressures to run in them. All in all, he went above and beyond the call. I highly recommend them. more

They are honest about repair needs 5/30/2016

I am a regular customer of Klamm so when I had a part fail that they replaced a few years ago they got the part covered under warranty. You don't get that type of support as a customer if you bounce around multiple repair shops. more
