It was our good fortune to move to Port Orchard and find Dr. Buck and the staff at Kitsap Veterinary Hospital. Their up-to-date knowledge, teamwork, friendliness, and compassion combine to make a first-rate hospital. It was a good thing I found them, also: two of my rescues had to have surgery -- one to remove a cancerous tumor. Thanks to Dr. Buck and the Kitsap Veterinary Hospital staff, our aging dog still has some good, quality years left ahead of her. more

There is such a thing as compassion, human kindness and empathy. All these things this hospital lacks with great necessity. I have used this hospital three times paying them around 2000.00 and when I needed help with my dying puppy, they declined. The only service they would provide me with was a mercy killing. I asked for payment arrangements which I had done before but I guess my puppy was not worth saving to them when it came to the up front cost. People before prophets is not a quality this hospital pocesses. This is not a hospital but a place of buisness that is only concerned about up front payments. I do understand the need to recieve payment to stay in business but I dont understand turning away a animal that is dying due to up front cost. I really hope this hospital will rethink their values. more

I raise and compete in a variety of high intensity sports with Labradors from puppyhood to geriatric in age and consider the staff at Kitsap Veterinary Hospital to be an integral part of my “team”. Since we moved to the area in 2009, the staff has taken care of emergencies ranging from broken teeth, to an obstruction caused by a stuck food particle, cuts needing stitches, sprained extremities, and even acted as a partner in care during cancer treatments for my young lab. The level of care at this vet is EXCEPTIONAL. \r \r The staff seems to be continuously involved in furthering their education in veterinary medicine, and shares their knowledge when an improved therapy might benefit my dog (ie; improved arthritis medication with less side effects). If you want to make sure your pet receives the best care possible… this is the place. They help keep my furry teammates in tip top health, and get them back up and running again when something’s gone wrong. more

Kitsap Veterinary Hospital in my opinion is an extremely professional and high quality place for animal care. All of there employee's are pet loving, caring individuals who give nothing but their best when it comes to the care of your family pet. The hospital is a clean, friendly and welcoming environment. The Doctors keep themselves educated on the most updated techniques to better serve your pets needs. I highly recommend this hospital to any and everyone with a pet that needs professional attention. more
