They say what goes up must come down. Initial success of Kit's Thai Kitchen didn't prove to be long lasting. Consistently plunging quality of food and service has finally exceeded my pain threshold. Food that is lacking in flavor and simultaneously combining parts that are overcooked and parts that are undercooked, being served by inexperienced staff is hardly worth the wait, which you are certain to endure. But don't you dare bring any of this to the attention of the manager, when I did, I got yelled at and had my food tossed around in front of my face in apparent attempt to showcase it's superior quality. more

Wonderful Thai Food 6/6/2006

Kit has wonderful Thai food - delicously spiced (as appropriate). The pad thai is the best I've had. They have recently doubled the dining area, but I find the takeout to be incredibly convenient. You can't go wrong with Kit's. more

A terrific find 8/23/2005

Kit's prepares excellent Thai food, gives friendly service and is welcoming to children. We especially like the summer rolls, chicken satay, and steamed dumplings. We have found that ordering a bunch of appetizers (which are quite large) is a good way to sample many of their best dishes. more

You can do better 8/22/2005

I must admit, I've only taken out, never eaten in. But that's because this is not really much of a restaurant--outside seating is on busy High Ridge Road, and inside is a few tables in front of a counter. The food is mediocre at best, and not cheap for (as I said) a take-out place. You can do much better for Thai in Stamford. Try Galangal--great lunch specials! However, if you insist on eating at Kit's, the soups are good. more

Thai in Stamford 8/19/2005

I waited a long time for a Thai restaurant to come to Stamford. On my first visit I tagged this restaurant as ‘humdrum.’ Fortunately during subsequent visits I have been more and more impressed with the delicacy of the cuisine and the sincerity of the wait staff. The food, both dining-in and take-out is uniformly excellent. Everything is prepared well, seasoned correctly and served attractively. It seems like our long wait in Stamford for a fantastic Thai restaurant had ended. more
