Kitchen Express II renovated our kitchen when we bought our house. They were more than willing to help us out and even planned the kitchen based on the architect's drawings. They gave us the most function and storage possible in our kitchen, while still making it seem very open. They answered all of our questions and gave us all of the options. more

My husband and I recently built a new home. It didn't take long for us to become overwhelmed with all of the decisions that needed to be made. With both of us working full time and raising a family, it was almost impossible to find extra time to begin designing our kitchen. And then we walked into Kitchens Express II and met Dave. He worked around our schedule and even came in after hours and on weekends. He calmly watched my husband and I agree and then disagree with almost every choice. He carefully listened to what is most important to us and how we needed the kitchen to function with our lifestyle. I had about a million pictures to show him from magazine cut outs and on-line pics. As I placed all of the pics in front of him and said we like this, but not this and we kind of like this but not so much this....he made notes, created sketches and assured us that he knew just what to do. I have to be honest, he was so calm and poised I wasn't really sure he heard us. more

My kitchen was supposed to take one week to complete. It took 4 months to reach the point it is at now and after pulling teeth just to get it to this point, it would seem Kitchen Express II has abandoned the idea of having a satisfied customer or properly finishing my kitchen. My contact there began avoiding my phone calls, more so than usual after the problems began. If that doesn't speak of the professionalism of this outfit, I don't know what does. Also, unlike the previous reviewer, my kitchen is VERY simple. There is no reason it should have taken this amount of time other than sheer incompetence and absolutely no attention to detail. The process has been a nightmare and I have received no apology of any sort from Kitchen Express II but I would expect nothing less of them given their track record thus far. We hired Kitchen Express II to remodel our kitchen. It is a larger than average sized kitchen and the remodel was extensive with higher end elements. We were told the project would take 4 to 6 weeks. After six months and numerous problems, our kitchen is about 95%complete. Many, but not all, of the problems were due to an independent designer. Because of the project, we were not able to use our garage or our basement gym throughout the winter. We are pleased with the end result, but due to all of the problems, the kitchen had major schedule overruns. The people at Kitchen Express II and the contractor they use are very nice and met with us to review our concerns, but this project and its very slow pace tried our patience to a very large degree.
