Kirk Apartments and Hotel

loved my stay at the Hotel, the rooms were clean and the owner was a pretty cool dude, playing pool in the early mornings, even though he probably won't remember me. Lovely country and beautiful view out my window. It's a different kind of hotel with an eccentric style, and a homey exterior, ...close to everything in Downtown Toole! Thanks! more

If I could give this hotel a negative rating it would be negative 10 stars! I am a resident of Tooele, and my kids came to visit me for Thanksgiving. Since Tooele is always encouraging us to support our local businesses I thought I would recommend to my kids to stay there. It has been restored and looks nice inside. My kids and two of their friends called for a rate and found it acceptable. When they arrived a very inappropriate man, which I believe is the owner told them that it was weird to ask for two double beds and a rollaway. He refused to let them stay. I believe because one of their friends was Hispanic, and the other was African American. I intend on making this very public, since no one will say anything. Kirk Hotel, you will be getting a call from the ACLU. I don't understand how you can make a profit out of such actions. Oh, and be careful, he has a very threatening dog in the lobby. Having lived in Las Vegas and working at some of the finest hotels in the world, I would never turn people away based on race. Shame on you! Asking for two double beds and a rollaway is not a weird request for a hotel! more

i had a great stay at the kirk. the place is quit and clean, the price quoted to me didnt include tax, but the manager was nice and very helpfull. its hard to find a hotel free of load kids and teenagers. more

Our overall stay with Kirk Hotel was ok! We found the owner to be verbally abusive to our children and to ourselves didn't take the time to listen or communicate with us. I would never recommend staying at Kirk Hotel if you want friendly service. Pros: John assist. manager really nice guy Cons: very rude and disrespectful owner more
