Not the best Japanese in Armonk 11/26/2003

I have tried Kira and I can't say that it is the best sushi place in Armonk. Although it is a pretty good place, it doesn't live up to the quality of Michi.. The food at Kira was so so and the atmosphere of the restaurant is not as nice. Pros: inexpensive, parking Cons: average sushi more

Incredible Sushi 7/8/2003

If you're looking for the best sushi in Westchester, you MUST go to Kira. The rolls are inventive, the fish is melt-in-your-mouth fresh, the wait staff attentive, the atmosphere lively. Great place for a casual date between sushi afficionados. Who knows, maybe you'll end up falling in love with more than Kira's sushi :-) I'd suggest calling early and making a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night. If you can't get one...go anyway and grab some take out. more
