Good dumplings, very nice staff 10/29/2008

Good selection of Chinese and Japanese finger foods here. The dumplings were quite good and the bubble tea was awesome. Pros: Tasty, Great Service more

Great cheap eats!! 7/29/2008

Great food, cheap price! Their chicken teriyaki is great and the bubble tea is amazing! The red bean steamed bun was a little cold and hard. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5star was bc they do not deliver everyday. The guy on the phone said they delivery every other day, and no Sundays (?). A little odd. But other than that, great food! more

Yummy Dumplings, Awesome Sushi, and Bubble Tea! 2/4/2008

I fell upon this cute little restaurant called Vanessa's Dumpling when I was on 14th street walking around one day. I saw that they had sushi and so I went in. The sushi bar was filled with fresh delicious looking sushi, and the smell was of yummy dumplings. The pan fried dumpling is my favorite, although the broiled dumplings are great! They have all different types of choices ... chicken teriyaki, wonton soups, bubble tea, and many different asian style dishes. Pros: delicious dumplings, cheap, fresh, great sushi Cons: none. more

Cheap, decent 10/29/2006

This is a fine place for a snack. The dumplings are so-so, with standard filling and the thick skins that seem to be pervasive in New York city. The noodle soup is also so-so - the noodles could be chewier and the broth lacks zing. The sesame sandwiches are good, if a little greasy. Nothing to write home about, but it's definitely edible. more

low prices, good sandwiches, average dumplings 10/1/2006

we were going to go to dumpling man, but one of my friends had already been and said it wasnt good, so i typed in dumpling into the citysearch field and vanessas dumplings was one of the search results. i had passed by it before, but had never really felt a strong urge to eat there because the brightly coloured signs & lack of a chinese menu hinted at unauthenticity (yes, i am aware that is not a word). Pros: sesame sandwiches, low prices, speed Cons: dumplings aren't great more
