Best

We have been dining at this best kept secret place for a long time. It is a family owned restaurant and a very charming place. There isn't a big selection of food but there is so ...

Worst

Service was horrible and the food was very marginal and minimal to say the least...the waitresses sat at a table eating and talking while customers awaited patiently for service (...

Great food, nice price 4/20/2009

Tasty food w/ xtras. Total mom & pop shop. Decent and clean atmosphere. Support small business! more

Best Mongolian Ever 2/14/2009

We have been dining at this best kept secret place for a long time. It is a family owned restaurant and a very charming place. There isn't a big selection of food but there is so so much food. It is all fresh veggies and the freshest meat. After it is stir fried it is just delicious. My family always leaves the place very satisfied and happy. The best thing about the place, that I love is that we are eating a lot of veggies. It is a very healthy satisfying meal. One more thing, the owners always ask us if everything is okay and do we need anything. They really care about their customers. Great place Pros: Everythings great= maybe the decor could be updated alittle more

Expected something else, but the food was good 4/13/2008

It's too bad one other reviewer didn't have the most pleasant of experiences, but I'd have to say the staff was pretty friendly and helpful when I took a date to dine at this restaurant. The waitress was nice enough to answer all the questions we had about the place and the way we had to go about getting our food. The cooks stirred and grilled our chosen ingredients just right and we always ended up with a tasty and savory dish. more

worst mongolian food ever!!! dont believe the hype... 9/14/2007

Service was horrible and the food was very marginal and minimal to say the least...the waitresses sat at a table eating and talking while customers awaited patiently for service ( I actually had to walk up to their table and ask for service!!!)... although the hours said they close at 9pm we were rushed out of there and they stopped putting food out at 8:35 when people were just starting to eat at the ""all-you-can-eat"" price... pretty sneaky... Pros: cant think of one Cons: lots more

Exceptional 3/11/2006

This is one of LA's finest Chinese/Monoglian BBQ establishments and best kept secrets. It is not fancy in decor or atmosphere, but is perfect for a satisfying meal or realxing evening out. You do not leave feeling as though you have thrown money away on eating out. Pros: Inexpensive, Adequate Parking, No Reservations Cons: Only Two Locations more

Good value mongolian experience 2/15/2006

1st time out to mongolian bbq and great experience. Fast and friendly service, great value and good foods! 9.95$ +tax for a 1 time bowl of bbq, soup, 2 bisquets, 2 fried shrimps & 1 fired wonton w/rice on the side. Lots of food for your $$. Not your typical hip-modern eatery but a definite recommendation for a kick back night out. A++ Pros: Great food, Great service Cons: Old decor, bathrooms more

Best Mongolian BBQ I've ever had! 10/7/2005

This place is the best if you want something new and different. For firsttimers, Mongolian BBQ is where you pick your own meats (beef, pork, chicken, turkey) and veggies (a great variety), pile it up in a bowl, add sauces (mild, medium, spicy with a unique taste), and then the cooks will stir-fry them on a big round grill. It's really interesting!! The food tastes great, and the service was wonderful. The most amazing thing is the pocket biscuits, they're kind of like pita bread, you can either stuff your bbq in there or eat them plain. They're famous for their bread, it's fresh and healthy. If it's your first time, the servers will help you and make sure it's a good experience. Pros: Inexpensive, Great for Kids!!! more
