I went in to look for something in the formerly huge home-healthcare section in November 2007 and discovered the sign had changed to Rite-Aid
The quirky gift items still seemed to be there, but the right-rear corner where the home healthcare items (walkers, wheelchairs, all sorts of large aids) used to be is now empty, or being used as overflow space for paper towels, etc.. Some of Rite-Aid's house branded stuff (Carex?) is there, but 95% of the stock is gone from that department.
I assume it's only a matter of time before the place looks like any other generic chain drugstore. What a pity.
