Reply to MFlorian. Dear MFlorian, your response to other opinions of this gym is a good attempt at advertising and marketing as I am sure your supervisors have instructed you to do. It sounds attractive and appealing as good advertising is supposed to, however, it is not a complete truth of what the health club is realy like. more

The gym is getting there, it's a work in progress. Anyone who's worked in construction before knows that things don't always go as planned. I signed up in January as part of my New Year's resolution and even though all the construction can be annoying at times, it's also fun to see too how everything is going to change. I'm a little sad to see that the new ladies locker room hasn't been opened yet, but if you see Noelle (the girl walking around in the six inch stilettos all the time lol) in membership she's really sweet and accommodating and got the manager to give me a month free. Great customer service from her! All in all, the gym is pretty good and I'm sure it will be better after all the construction is finally over. Great parking too. There's an above ground AND underground lot. more

dont waste your $ here 5/6/2012

the worst health club in the world. i was a member for 17 months. the club is going under a renovation and nothing has been done except a new mens locker room in two years. the pool was to be closed for two months and its now going on four months and still not open. the club is dark and dreary. they start construction and leave it and start somewhere else. the rugs are ripped and dirty. the walls are dirry, the basketball and raquet ball courts are on concrete and not floating floors. this will kill your knees. patti for membership is always outside smoking. the other membership people are nasty and some are fat. the front desk lady person who logs you in is 85 years old (no joke). this is the image they want to present. i go there during the day and hardly ever see workers acutally working. they are usually outside smoking or sitting somewhere behind a closed door. TRUST ME STAY CLEAR OF THIS FILTHY RATHOLE. they will lie and tell you things are coming soon...but what is their definition of soon? DONT LISTEN TO ANY REPLYS FROM MATTHEW. HE HAS ONLY BEEN THERE 8 MONTHS AND HE IS THEIR PUPPET SPEWING OUT LIES. I'd rahter join a club with friendly staff who care about their job. the staff in kings court are so rude becasue they dont enjoy their job and have been breathing in dust for years now. more

Dear lyndhurst grl, I'm genuinely sorry and disappointed that we did not live up to your expectations in the past. With regard to the workout equipment and facility, King's Court Health & Sports Club is currently under a multi-million dollar renovation. The transformation will include an all-new indoor running track, basketball court, refurbished swimming pool with duel jacuzzis, VIP personal training area, floating-wood floor racquetball courts, an indoor turf soccer field, a healthy cafe' and a state-of-the-art cardio room with natural sunlight looking out to Riverside Ave. King's Court is additionally building new men's and women's locker rooms to include more lockers as well as a steam room and a sauna. (Photos on 'King's Court' Facebook page) Since I have only been here for two-weeks, all I can say about the staff is that they are all knowledgeable, dedicated, and extremely pleasant to work with. After 31 years in the Lyndhurst community we have always provided a comfortable, family atmosphere to help our members reach their fitness goals. Thank you for your compliment on our parking situation. We are looking forward to utilizing the covered garage parking for the winter season and we have plans to pave the front lot as well. I appreciate the feedback as it served as the foundation for the beneficial changes that are taking place now. I personally hope you give us another chance as we have added tremendous value to your King's Court membership. Sincerely, Matthew Florian Marketing Director King Court Health & Sports Club www.kingscourtnj | 201-460-0088 more

Don't waste your money here 10/10/2009

The machines are old and some are broken. The roof in the weights room is leaking and all they do is leave a towel on the floor to absorb the water. The service is bad. Those ladies at the counter are rude and mean. Also, I was told that you get 2 free training sessions with a personal trainer who will go over your physical fitness level and measure you body fat. Boy, is the a lie. The trainer didn't even talk to me. The trainer gave me dumbells and showed some moves. Hello, like I didn't know how to use free weights. It was just disappointing so I didn't even bother to make an appt for my second session. Also, I notice that they overcharge ppl vs. other new gyms. They charge ppl for towel service. Their towels are not even good. It's a cheap cheesy material. Women locker room is also falling apart. Shower floor and tiles are dirty. Their advertise sauna and steam room is pathetic. It's just a single stall. First come, first serve....I can't wait until my membership is over. I'm never joining again and truly would not recommend the place to anyone. I give 1 star rating because of parking. Pros: parking Cons: old machines, leaking roof, bad service more
