This restaurant is usually quiet and there is never a wait. It's a great place to take a family (I usually eat alone, but I have seen families with small children there) because the staff is very attentive to the needs of small (often fussy) kids. The food is good, it's a great place to go if you want the ""traditional Chinese restaurant experience,"" complete with tea and cookies. It's right on the main drag, too, so it's a good place to stop in after a day of sightseeing and shopping in Chinatown. Cheap parking is available nearby in the Chinatown Parking Lot. Be sure to get your stub validated. The restaurant is also close to the Red Line. This is my favorite place to eat in Chinatown.
Pros: attentive staff, quiet, reliably good food
Cons: not too exciting
