King Pup

King Pup have been really good with our new Lhasa Apso puppy so far, we've been getting the in home puppy visits for just under a month. We were unlucky in that our sitter had a week's vacation booked a couple of weeks after we started but James, the owner, personally stepped in and covered the visits himself during that time. To be honest we still have a lot to learn about raising a dog but they've been super helpful in giving us tips & advice, and everything is in order when we get home from work. James has also stepped in with extra evening visits on a couple of times when we've had late dinner plans. This is our first time with a pet sitting service and we are very happy. more

We used King Pup for just under 4 months to have our somewhat jumpy rescue dog walked everyday. Our dog is now going to live with my wife's mother in Philadelphia because we feel she wasn't comfortable in our small apartment, but I would like to thank King Pup for their excellent service in the short time we have used them. They were very accommodating and professional from the start and showed a lot of interest in Sasha. We signed a service contract which made us feel comfortable about dealing with them as a company and the owner walked Sasha himself for a couple of weeks to get to know her before assigning her to a walker, whom we then met. Our only complaint is that we couldn't pay for the walks with a credit card, but after a few weeks of writing checks we did figure out that we could pay online our our bank's website, I wish they had told us that from the start! We're sad about losing Sasha but if we do get another dog eventually we would not hesitate to contact King Pup as our first port of call. more

I used King Pup to watch my 8-yr-old lab and to feed my cats when my boyfriend and I had to fly out to Seattle in an emergency. Mickey is pretty much OK on his own and just needs 3 walks a day. Pros: Peace of mind, very friendly, reliable, gave the extra mile, Mickey loves him Cons: None that we can think of more

Hey what can I say. After going through 6 (yes 6) dog walking services that didn't work out over the last 3 years we finally settled on James. And I never want to have to look for another dog walker again! THANK YOU, for being so reliable, courteous, helpful, friendly, professional, understanding and most of all, thank you for making Buster so happy! I'm writing this review because we're moving apartment next month and will be losing Jamie (King Pup) as our dog walker. He's walked our Boston Terrier, Jack, for 2 years and in all that time we've had not one problem. Jack loves him to pieces, Jamie loves Jack, he's reliable, friendly, very professional and experienced, unlike some other services we've used in the past. We've always felt comfortable with him having access to our apartment, and it's nice to know someone we can trust 100% has our keys! Last summer we flew back from Thailand to find we didn't have our keys - even though it was 11:30 at night, Jamie sped to the scene in a taxi and let us in, now you show me one of the bigger services that would do that for you. Pros: Experienced, professional, friendly, our dog loved him, trustworthy...what else can I say! Cons: He doesn't cover the Upper West Side. Awww! more
