Terrible Nightmare King Pin Bowling Lanes 200 North Otterdale Road Midlothian, VA 23113-6509 (804) 378-7838 So, I took my kids to this Bowling Ally because the deals sounded good. The first con was wrong directions. On their website, they had an address that was incorrect. We found that out soon when we got lost in a old neighborhood. We finally reached there after asking around. I was about to go when I saw some drunks in the pub. I wasn't leaving my kids with some strangers that might go crazy! My plans were ruined and I had to stay there. The second con. We were new at bowling and it was our first time there. We got our shoes from a nice young man and payed money to a strict-looking lady. We chose our bowling balls(after looking after all the racks for an appropriate size.), and headed to our bowling area. We played less than one round but we stopped everyone had bumpers except us. We went to the front desk and asked if we could get bumpers. The young man was about to answer when the lady came in and asked our ages. My son told her that his sister was 8 and she told him,""Bumpers are only for UNDER 8."" Shutup lady! I could see teens using them and she said they can be only be used by under 8 year olds. I was furious. I told her to give me a refund of my two games but not my third. She must have misunderstood me or something because when we went back to our ally, our game was shutdown. I then came up again and told her about her mistake. She kept on saying something and something. Finally all fed up, I told her to give me my full refund. She told me she couldn't because we had played what is called a game. I wanted to scream at her. We had only played ONE round, is that called a whole game? I stormed out hoping that lady would rue that day. Note: This is a true experience. DO not even go there, if you want to live a happy life. more

Went out to enjoy a night with some friends, wound up in what felt like an 8th grade dance nightmare. dozens of kids around with nothing better to do than start a loud and obnoxious fight. Seriously! give me a break. the employees did a good job of getting them out but that wasn't until the fight started, i mean what the hell are these kids doing out so late anyway - there's a bar there for God's sake. it seems that every time we go there, we have to deal with the same annoyance. forget bowling, stay home and play pong - LOL. The manager was not very accommodating. He was quick to say no to every requests. And when asked to finish up the bowling special on our 7th frames, he said the system will not allow him to do so. King Pin is under new management. What an immediate improvement on the house shot. They are putting much needed $$$money$$$ into a great bowling center. League bowling is finally back at King Pin.
