King Phillip's Campground-Rsrt

We found this campground to be an awesome value and experience for our family! we can't wait to return next year in the hopes of staying longer. We camped for 3 nights and when we arrived, out site was ready for us to pull right in. The site was roomy and freshly raked and cleaned. Fireplace was ready to go too! Check-in was a breeze and they even brought us to our site! The store had everything we forgot at home with a few extras for the kids. The staff in the store was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The family that owns the campground couldn't be nicer! We really can't wait to return! more

Found a diamond in the rough with this place. Many attractions close to this campground. Lake George is a breath taking Adirondack destination. Our family found accomodations at King Phillip's most attractive of the area campgrounds. The Staff is wonderful. Once a site becomes vacant the work crew clean it immediately. Immagine pulling into a site and everything is perfect. No need to break out a rake to clean the last campers mess. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Real nice playground for the young ones to entertain themselves. The store at the resort carried most of our needs and the employees were kind, courteous, and knowlegable of the areas restaurants and attractions. more

Don't recommend to anybody. We reserved 3 adjacent campsites for a single night, but when we arrived they didn't give us three adjacent sites (can you imagine, they gave our sites to the people staying longer, because they earn more money this way!). Of course we were not happy about this and asked the staff if it is possible to find sites for us. Instead of cooperating with us, they just stopped talking to us and started to ignore us. It was evening already, we had a small child with us, but it didn't stop them from asking us to get out. We were so disappointed that we call the police. Unfortunately it is a private campground, so they can do almost all they want, even disrespect customers. If you reserve a site at this campground - be aware, you can be kicked out, because somebody paid more. more
