Editorial review from Citysearch 7/16/2013

Both of my boys started at King of Kings in their Mom's Day Out program. I had been looking for something for my oldest son to do once or twice a week when my second son was an infant. It was such a Godsend to find KOK. I was hesitant to have my 2 1/2 year old leave me, but he had a wonderful experience. We loved it so much, we stayed. He stayed 4 years, all the way through Kindergarten. My youngest followed in his brother's footsteps and will begin his last year there (Kindergarten), this Fall. I cried when my oldest was done there, and I'm sure I will again next spring when we are officially done. Both boys also had Mrs. Fenstermaker, and we loved her. Not sure what that bottom review is all about. Like the other teachers, she was warm and caring, and also very organized and clear with communication, which I really appreciate. This school has felt like family to us, and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. :). more

My three kids have been at this school and I wouldn't have it any other way! The environment is kind and caring, the teachers are loving and tender, the kids go to school excited about going and learning, and are always welcome with a smile and a caring word!\r I only have good things to say about the school! more

Terrific school! 4/28/2011

DD had never been to preschool until we enrolled her in the Mother's Day Out program. The care given to her by the teachers and staff to help with this transition was amazing. That same level of care is shown consistently day to day, year after year. We are very happy with our decision to send DD there. I highly recommend the school -- excellent teachers/staff, curriculum, classrooms, gym/playgrounds, chapel/faith formation. To learn more, visit the ECEM part of the KOKLCMS website. more

Great value for early education 4/28/2011

Our daughter has attended KOK for two years now and we couldn't be more pleased. She's an only child and we felt she needed an opportunity to socialize with other children in a safe environment. She has been appropriately challenged socially and academically at KOK. It's been remarkable to watch her development under their care. As a father, I particularly appreciate the father-child night, which gives me an opportunity to be involved. I'm impressed with how KOK offers all of the programming that they do while keeping their fees so low. It really is a great value for early education. more

Excellent Christian Education 4/28/2011

KOK ECEM provides an excellent Christian education for 2yo-K. The staff are committed and truly care about your child's development, both academically and emotionally. The facilities are well-equipped and the curriculum provides lots of enriching activities. Most importantly, the school fosters the beginning steps of a child's faith journey. There are lots of opportunities for parents to be involved as well as communicate any concerns to the administration. Plus the fees are VERY reasonable. It would be difficult to find a better educational value for the price. Obviously, I highly recommend KOK ECEM and encourage you to check it out! more

This school sucks 11/22/2010

I think that King of Kings. I hate to be blunt but my overall experience was that the school is not good at all. The administration does not listen to your concerns. OMG the secretaries are as rude and unwelcoming as can be. You walk in and you don't feel welcome at all. They look at you as though you are bothering them. The teachers are mediocre at best but the one teacher that takes the cake is Marsha Fenstermaker. Boy, did she make an impression. I had my child in her class and I must say that she was mean, nasty, crotchety and rude to my child and other kids and parents. She was always yelling at the kids - still is from what I hear from current parents at the school. She by herself makes this school not worth your time. She is the worst teacher in the school and King of Kings need to terminate her and those yucky secretaries. I know there have been past and there are current complaints about her and this is why I am posting this. The public needs to know that she is just an unkind, disrespectful person and a bad teacher. The school overall, sucks. Your preschool experience for your child will not be what you want if you send your child to this school. Why would you want to wrangle with ill-tempered teachers who will take it out on your kid when you are not there? I would go to the Montgomery Community Church - now they have a good school. My child is now there - good school. I have not looked back. more
