What a bad experience. I went to King to help my aunt buy a car. Everything was fine until....the deal was done. She was lucky enough to have Sam the used car manager, and I use that term very, very loosely, help her with the purchase. When it was time to give her money back, all of the sudden there where hurdles upon hurdles to overcome. No one , AND I MEAN NO ONE, has any idea how to do their job. The fact that SIG, her salesman, Michael, he finance guy, Sam the used car manager, and even the comp controller Mary, blamed each other for any and all miss haps means no one at King has an idea how to do their job, let alone hold up customer satisfaction. The check took 10 days, 34 phone calls and 16 messages to get back. Now, please don't missunderstand me...Sam was kind enough to answer the phone and tell me to wait..wait till the deal was funded, wait till the next day, call in the am, wait till the check is signed, wait till the deal is funded again, wait till money is in his bank, wait till he can locate the check, wait till ..... We got tired of waiting, so we called the general manger, Ray. He was no help at all. In fact ,he did not even know what was going on. He said on the 5th of October , that he cant release a check till the deal is funded..But of course, like many people getting the run around...we called Chase bank, who informed us that they had funded the deal, and put money in their pockets on the 3rd of October. It is now the 10th, we are going to TRY to pick up a check in the am, maybe someone with a brain will show up to work today. ONLY one can only hope. I went as far as calling the owner of the dealership CLAY KING. He does not take any interest in ensuring customer satisfaction and I know this because I have not yet received a phone call, and has in my eyes, let his dealership fall apart while still having to pay incompetent people to run it right into the ground.
