King Chef

Well, I had a disappointing pleasure of ordering a take out from King Chef on Monday, March 03, 2014. I ordered beef and broccoli along with 2 spring rolls. The rice was very bland, the onions were burnt. Not to mention that I did not receive any eating utensil, nor any condiments. Since I eat lunch at 7:30 pm; I gave King Chef a call the next day. Upon calling, I spoke with manager and got no satisfaction, I was told to bring food in, and still received no satisfaction. No exchange nor refund. (There was also another customer who was returning spoiled chicken) King Chef will not be recommend by me nor will they ever receive a visit from me. more

Ordered for the first time today from this take out restaurant because they deliver and my usual place does not. I have to say that I was really hoping that the food would be good because they delivered but I was sadly disappointed in the food from King Chef. I decided to try some of the usual fare we usually get from our regular place so we ordered a combo dinner of General Tso's Chicken, a order of House Lo Mein, and two appetizers, Crab Rangoon and Teriyaki chicken on a stick. The order was taken over the phone and delivered quickly by friendly staff but the food left a lot to be desired. Also, not a big deal but worth mentioning was that they only included 1 fortune cookie. Sorry Guys at King Chef, I won't be ordering from you again. more

If you are in the Summerville/Ladson area and within their delivery zone... you got to try them!! The food is awesome; pricing is reasonable for the amount you get! They deliver fast to your door as long as your order is over 10.00 and they give you different options of 'free' specials depending on the amount of your order. If you are still going to China ""Hef"" (the C in Chef has been burnt out for years) or that place beside BiLo... STOP and cal KING CHEF... you will be glad you did!! more
