This was the best hospital I have ever stayed in! Everybody was very nice and kind. The nurses were friendly. I’ve had a good time here. I would definitely recommend this hospital more

I can’t thank you enough! 7/29/2019

There are some people here that I wish I could take with me when I go! There are staff in every discipline who not only are on top of their game, but they bring a smile with them and show that they truly care. Mike in RT has really taken care of me. He has been outstanding. And the CEO Kevin came right away to see me when I requested that. He really listened. And Chef Mike has been to see me so many times, with a smile on his face, to do everything he can to meet my wants and needs for my meals. Trisha takes the time to talk to me and encourage me. There are lots of very good people who work here. Thank you to ALL of them! more

They all wanted to see me succeed 7/17/2019

I would recommend this hospital because it’s clean, orderly, and people are nice. All of the staff were great. The nurses were good. The chef was great. And the rehab staff really helped me. Amy, in Rehab, was always courteous and concerned. They all wanted to see me succeed. more

They were right there to help me 7/15/2019

My experience here has been very good. The nurses were always respectful and listened to me. When my cholostomy bag broke open, my nurse was right there to help me. She got everything cleaned up, including me, as if it was no big deal. They all were like that. I want to thank everyone. more

They have been good to me 7/3/2019

I would recommend this hospital because they have been good to me. The nurses, respiratory therapy, rehab, everyone has been nice and has really helped me. Weaning off the ventilator was hard but they helped me do it. I’ve come a long way. Thank you, Kindred. more

They gave me my life back 6/27/2019

I was a patient at Kindred St Louis 8 years ago. I was after a botched surgery. At first, I couldn’t see myself ever getting well. But the staff were so positive and encouraging to me and my family. They brought me back to health. After four weeks, I walked out of there finally well again. I would recommend Kindred St Louis because of the loving nurses and staff and the difference they made in my life and my family. They gave me a second chance. Thank you, Kindred. more

I’ve had a good experience here. I like getting to have the same nurses and rehab staff for so many days in a row instead of different ones every day. The care has been very good. And the food’s good. I’ve come a long way in my healing and recovery. Thank you Kindred. more

They take care of you 6/5/2019

I would recommend this hospital because it’s clean, quiet, and they take care of you. They brought equipment in my room for me to do PT and OT. When I first got here, I couldn’t stand up. Now I can walk up and down the hall two or three times just with a cane. My wounds are healing. The nurses have been great. I especially liked Apple. I’ve had no problems or issues here. I would definitely recommend this hospital. In fact, I already have to a few people. more

A+ Care 4/10/2019

I would give you guys an A+ because you’ve done a great job caring for me. This place is definitely better than Select! Select just put me in a wheelchair all day. Here I have PT and OT and I actually walked 75 feet today! That’s beyond my goal of 40 feet! Now I’m ready to go home. I would definitely recommend Kindred. If I ever need LTAC again, I will come back here. more

THE best care possible 4/2/2019

Kindred Hospital in St Louis provided my aunt with THE best care possible and were not only kind and caring towards her, but also to myself as her caregiver. I highly recommend Kindred Hospital to everyone! Thank you!!! I truly believe that my aunt is alive today, the day of her discharge, because of the great care she received while at Kindred! Wound care was excellent 4/2/2019

I would recommend Kindred because of the care I got. Wound care was excellent. Kirsty, the wound care nurse, always went above and beyond. She examined my wound every day and explained things to me so well. Prolly in Housekeeping was so thorough when she cleaned my room. Sometimes she mopped my floor two or three times. One time I saw her on her hands and knees cleaning the bottom wheel base of my bedside table! Most everyone here has done a great job of taking care of me. Thank you! more

Exceeded my expectations 3/21/2019

I would recommend Kindred because it is a great hospital, probably the best in St Louis! They have exceeded my expectations. If they can take care of my wound, they can do about anything. My wound was REALLY bad, and now it’s healing. Even my brother and sister say that everyone here is very professional. I especially want to thank Sylvia and Dee; they are my favorite nurses. more

It’s been great here 3/14/2019

I want to thank all the therapy people, all the nurses, and the whole staff. I haven’t had any problems or complaints and my sons are very happy with my care too. I kid the nurses. They smile at me. We have fun along the way of them taking such good care of me. PT got me walking laps up and down the hallway and now I’m actually strong enough to go to the acute rehab program closer to where my family lives. Thank you everyone at Kindred! more

I would definitely recommend this hospital because I think they make you feel welcome. The transition when you first get here is positive. All the staff seem to be pretty nice, and just the way they cater to your needs I thought was great. I want to thank the whole staff. more

Wonderful care 3/11/2019

I want to thank everyone who has taken care of me here. They have all been wonderful! I would recommend this hospital because everyone has taken such good care of me. Mike in RT is a wonderful man. He and his team got me weaned off the vent and the trach removed. Mike explained everything to me so well and really helped me understand. He explained that I DON’T have COPD! I have gotten so much better while I’ve been at Kindred. Mike has been my miracle worker! more

Kindred saved his life 3/7/2019

When my son came to Kindred he was in dire straights. He was on a ventilator and only responded to pain. Kindred saved his life and brought him back. They got him weaned off the ventilator and his trach out. He was talking again. He was himself again. I couldn’t go see him very often. One of the nurses called me every three days to update me on his progress. His siblings went to visit him and said he was getting great care and doing better every time they saw him. I just thank everyone at Kindred from the bottom of my heart. more
