My father is currently a patent in your ICU with multi-organ failure; requiring mechanical ventilation and hemodialysis in a desperate effort to restore him to his recent previous excellent health status. In the past two weeks I have been spending scarce time away from home patiently waiting by bedside along with my wife, my mother and all family members. All of us have had ample opportunity to observe all your staff; the nurses, respiratory therapist, pharmacy technicians, social service personnel, security staff, physical plant staff and transport workers.
My entire family has been impressed with every aspect of the courtesy, care and work ethic of every one of the Kindred Hospital employees. I’m my experience, I am amazed that such a tiny facility as Kindred Hospital would impress me so much; clearly, it is only consequent to the superb team that is employed there.
Foremost among all of the Kindred staff that has engendered such admiration is Dr. Allen Snyder. He has been extremely knowledgeable, highly competent and responsive to my father’s needs. Dr. Snyder definitely ranks as one of the best clinicians that I have had the pleasure to know. Besides having a comprehensive understanding of my father’s condition and quickly responding to his medical needs, he has demonstrated a superb bedside manner and has made him comfortable with the quality of care that my father is receiving from him.
At this time, we are all praying that my father is able to recover from his extremely dangerous and precarious clinical status. Nonetheless, I am grateful that Dr. Snyder and the Kindred Hospital team are working hard towards ha goal
