Stay at Kindred 1/4/2024

My review of this hospital is that the staff here were very compassionate and treated me very well. I was happy with my therapy and Danielle was always friendly and helpful. Lori helped me out a lot too. Dr. Cantor and Dr. Hollis were wonderful and we always had pleasant interactions. My personal experience here at this hospital was a good one. Ann K. more

Kindred Hospital 12/21/2023

My significant other was so well taken care of you can tell the nurses and staff really care about their patients. I give the facility so much credit because they take care of really sick patients here. My loved one went on the 3rd floor of this hospital on a ventilator and left from the 1st floor walking out of there……it is amazing the work the staff did. Thank you! - J.C. more

Kindred 11/22/2023

My son was at Kindred for a month before going to acute rehab afterwards. I was there everyday and he received such good care. It is an old building but the nursing and respiratory care is phenomenal. Tia, Ashley, Gina, Danielle, Emily, Jason, Jermaine, Nikki, John, Christine and lots of other good people I’m sure I’m leaving out (sorry!) treated us so well. Glad we had the chance to go there for a few weeks to get where my son needed to be before rehab and home again. more

I want to thank ALL the staff who I worked with at Kindred .........I cannot leave 1 single person out. The staff at Kindred are why I’m graduating to my next step in rehab and home. Kindred rehab 10/17/2023

Just want to thank the doctors and nurses and therapy team who helped me a lot. Danielle from physical therapy worked with me the most and took me to the gym there. Both nurses Shamika and Hadiza gave me encouragement to keep going when I was feeling down. I made a lot of progress at Kindred. - Daniel more

From the nursing staff, respiratory, the doctors, case management, patient relations, housekeeping and security......everyone went out of their way to help with giving updates no matter what time we called and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you! more

Kindred 9/18/2023

I cannot thank this place enough for all the care and attention I received. I want to thank the therapy team, Emily and Hana spent a lot of time with me. The nurses Kelly, Aislinn, Gwen, John, Smiles, Gianna and Nikki were fantastic. The entire respiratory staff are on top of their game. Dr. Cantor and Dr. Hollis and the neuro team were great. Kindred 8/21/2023

Everyone at Kindred was so kind and accommodating to me. Dr. DeButts was my doctor and he listened to me and my husband and was attentive. A special thank you to Jody (physical therapist) who kept pushing me and encouraging me during our sessions. Gina was great and answered many questions we had about leaving Kindred and next steps in recovery. The nurses took good care of me and I want to send a special thank you to Alisha the evening nurse. Kindred Hospital 8/9/2023

I had a positive experience at Kindred. When I first got here I couldn’t even get out of bed and now I’m walking all over the unit. Haidie (RN) and Gwen (RN) really treated me great and checked on me when I wasn’t even their patient. Dr. Hollis and Dr. Cantor were outstanding and if I could keep them as my doctors outside of Kindred I would. Thank you - Tristan V. more

Exceptional care 5/9/2023

The care my father received at Kindred was exceptional. The entire staff is amazing. They treat you like family and your concerns are addressed and the patients needs are top priority. My father left feeling positive about the long road to recovery because the great support and encouragement that Kindred provided. We cannot thank the staff at Kindred enough. Keep doing what you guys are doing. more

Kindred Rehab 4/18/2023

ALL the nurses at the hospital were so nice and did a great job caring for me, I don’t want to name anyone specifically and forget someone! I have recovered so much here and I’m getting ready to receive more rehab and get back home. I can’t wait to get back outside again and I have the doctors, rehab team and nurses here to thank for that. I personally had a really good experience here. more

Great Experience 3/3/2023

I thank God for Kindred and the nurses (Gianna, Tia, Winsome, Nikki) and so grateful they took me under their wings. I stayed positive and the staff at Kindred gave me hope, healing and recovery just like the signs there says. They really worked hard helping me recover. more

I was at Kindred Hospital for over a month and I have to say this is one hospital I will actually miss. Staff were so nice to me and would spend extra time talking to me and encouraging me when I needed it. I recommend going there if you get the chance to. more

Kindred Rehab 11/25/2022

Everyone here was so super nice to me and the therapy team really motivated me. In the rehab I got back to walking on my own like I did before I was in the hospital. I will even miss my dinners here, the food here was good! Thanks for all the great care and help. more

Kindred Havertown 9/23/2022

When I first arrived I was nervous about moving to a new facility I did not know but soon was feeling better. Now I’m nervous about leaving here and all the staff who have been taking care of me. Thanks to all the wonderful nurses here!! I would certainly come back again. more

staff and experience 6/30/2022

Staff here (Kindred) truly cared about doing their jobs properly and gave it their all as far as my care was concerned. Dr.Hollis, John and Christine from respiratory, Ashley (RN) Emily the speech therapist and Jody the physical therapist and Jermaine (cna) were wonderful! Looking forward to getting back to living my life now that I am recovering. more
