Kindred Hospital Dallas Central

Kindred has some really good nurses and charge nurse. My wife was there 2018 and Fahti and Ellis , Dee Dee respiratory Is wonderful night nurses. Dixon, (high energy)Heidi, on the 4th floor was good as well but the best hands down was Nicole, she is a charge nurse and worked with my wife. She is so knowledgeable. She was always explaining everything & talking to my wife even though my wife couldn’t respond.She take great pride in her work. We found out she was a charge nurse as she was handling a complaint across the hall and she was phenomenal! I guess they were complaining about the room being dirty, I saw her wheel a housekeeping cart to the room & she was cleaning something in the bathroom. I can’t believe kindred don’t have night housekeeping . I was personally mad for her but she was smiling and talking to that family as if it was no big deal. My wife was moved to the 2nd floor & it was less than perfect only a couple nice nurses. No one smiling as they worked. Barely saw the nurses. The nurse tech Stacey was very accommodating, she took good care of my wife. My wife IV line was removed and she was stuck by 4 people multiple times. Each day different nurses was trying. Some days no one could get her blood. Then Nicole came down and got it in 1 stick she is the best ! John came down from 4th floor & stuck my wife, it took him 2 times but at least it wasn’t 5! My wife and I would like thank all the nurses a kindred with a special thanks to Nicole. Keep up the good work. more

Wonderful Stacy and Solomon, has a smile on his face at all times. He never appears troubled over all the jobs he is called upon by patients. He is one of the best representatives for Kindred. Hiring more like him would make Kindred stand out. more

My Mother’s nurse is very professional, courteous, understanding. She gives comfort for my Mom. She has also given me hope, encouragement and more faith. She knows how to utilize sympathy, apathy. Please keep her around here, she cares for Gods people. more

The Wound Care team under the direction of Dr. Rafiq have been more than wonderful both kind and gentle. Stephanie in Case Management has worked very hard on my behalf. Disease specialist has been very helpful to me. Not to forget O.T., P.T team that helped me on my way to strength. more

Awoke, keep shining. This young man is highly intelligent and it shows in his daily relations with patients, understanding their needs and taking care of them immediately. He represents Kindred well and makes it shine on the days he works. more

Tirhas (RN) and Joel (RN) have been exceptional, furans above any patient could ever ask for. They and others on 2nd floor from the doctors to the wonderful persons who have kept every nick & corner so clean. Patricia has responded to my calls in a most gracious way. And to the kindness to the Kitchen. more

Maureen is one of the kindest most efficient nurses you have on staff. Her days are spent always looking after the concerns of her patients. She spends no time in frivolous activities during her days working. She is an excellent asset for Kindred Dallas Central. more

Wound care Team was some of the best I’ve ever had.they were very involved in my care and made sure each time it was out of compassion and love. They continually put the patient first and create true and intentional friendships while keeping my wound priority and healthy. more

Every nurse I had was so wonderful and so caring, but especially Bello, Tersha, Mark, Awoke, Moses (tech),Zene and Joel. They fought for my care, they showed me love and compassion and when the doctors weren’t present, they were present and mindful each and every shift. They should not go unrecognized! more

All nurses, Resp Theraptists and all support staff have been so great! It is hard to say just one or two, or name a person. more
